Danny officially hated everything, over the summer he had been moved to the smallest room in the Fenton house which was nice but everything else sucked. Unfortunately his aunt knew he wasn't allowed to use magic outside of school, he never even tried saying he'd use magic on them if they hurt him.

Now Hedwig was locked in her cage, Danny had to hide all of his school stuff from the Fentons, and he was in pain. The beatings were still bad, if anything they had gotten worse, and he had just gone through what he decided to refer to as episodes. He needed something to call them so he figured he might as well call them episodes, they were just different from normal episodes.

Now that he knew more about magic and himself in general he had a few theories on what actually cause his episodes. Right now he was trying to relax after an episode that had lasted over two hours, he was tired after that. He was looking through the photo album Hagrid had given him when Hedwig tried once again to get out of her cage.

He looked at his owl, "Sorry Hedwig, if I let you out the Fentons will kill me, maybe literally."

All of a sudden he heard Jack yelling his name and he sighed before closing the photo album and leaving his room. He walked into the kitchen and Maddie directed him to Jack who was in the living room talking to Jazz. Jack looked at him, "Shut that bird up or we will get rid of it."

"She's bored, if I could let her out for a while she'd be fine."

Jack glared at him, "You just want to send messages to your freaky little friends."

"I don't even have friends, who would I send messages to?"

Jazz looked at him, "Who'd want to be friends with you anyway?"

Danny bit back a growl and Maddie looked at Jazz, "We have to wait until the Mason's arrive honey."

Jack spoke, "Which should be any minute, let's go over our schedule, Maddie, when they arrive you'll be?"

"In the lounge waiting to graciously welcome them to our house."

Jack looked at Jazz, "Jazz you'll be?"

Jazz smiled, "Waiting to open the door."

They all looked at him, he could feel the hate, "And you will be?"

Danny mentally sighed, "In my room not making a sound and acting like I don't exist."

Jack gave him a fake smile, "Good boy."

Danny forced himself not to say anything and he went up to his room, when he heard something in his room he paused. He got ready to blast something and he opened his door, when he saw a creature jumping on his bed he looked confused. The creature then looked at him, "Danny Phantom, such an honor it is."

Danny immediately made his hand stop glowing and he closed his door, "Okay, who the hell are you?"

The creature looked at him, "Dobby sir, Dobby the house elf."

"Okay, I don't want to be rude but this isn't a good time to have a house elf in my room."

"Oh Dobby understands sir, it's just that Dobby has come to tell you." He hesitated for a second, "It is difficult sir, Dobby wonders where to begin."

Danny quietly sighed, "Look, why don't you sit down."

Dobby looked stunned, "Sit down?" He then started crying and Danny panicked ever so slightly, "Look, I didn't mean to offend you, just stop crying."

Dobby looked at him, "Offend Dobby, Dobby has heard of your greatness sir, but never has he been asked to sit down by a wizard, like an equal."

Danny mentally sighed before walking up to Dobby and kneeling in front of him, "I'm not above you Dobby. I'm not better then anyone, human or creature, I will never see you as anything but an equal, you must not have met many decent wizards if they don't say the same."
