Danny found himself at the lake with Neville and the boy was doing something while Danny looked at a book Neville had. Neville spoke, "Amazing, amazing."

Danny looked at him, "You do realize your talking out loud right?"

"Oh, right, sorry."

Danny shrugged, "Don't worry about it, quick question, what's this?"

Danny held up the book and Neville looked at it, "Moody gave it to me, that day we had tea."

Neville then waved at someone and Danny looked at who it was, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny were walking over. Danny just turned to Neville's book and started flipping through the pages, Hermione walked over to him. "Ronald would like me to tell you that Seamus told him that Dean was told by Parvati that Hagrid's looking for you."

Danny just put down the book and walked away from the three and they stared after him, they looked a bit sad. Death put his arms around him and Danny took a deep breath as he walked, he didn't look back. That night he found himself walking with Hagrid through the woods and Hagrid spoke, "Did you bring you fathers cloak like I asked you?"

"Yeah, so what's going on Hagrid?"

"You'll see soon enough, and pay attention this is important."

Danny then noticed the flower Hagrid had on his jacket, "What's with the flower, and did you comb your hair?"

"As a matter of fact I have, you might like to try the same thing now and again."

Danny gave him a suspicious look, "Are you going on a date or something, am I a third wheel, do I look like a ditchable prom date to you?"

Hagrid gave him a strange look, Danny was saying it as a joke but how he came up with them was beyond Hagrid. When the two heard a loud roar they both stopped, then someone called out Hagrid's name and the tall man smiled. He started to walk toward whoever spoke before stopping and looking at Danny, "Oh, the cloak, put the cloak on."

Danny put the cloak on but simply went invisible once it hid him and Hagrid started talking to Madam Maxime. Maxime spoke, "Oh Hagrid, I thought perhaps you weren't coming, I thought perhaps you had forgotten me."

Hagrid smiled, "I wouldn't forget you Olympe."

Danny rolled his eyes, puppy love, he was so glad he'd never gone through that with his boyfriend. Danny loved him more then he could ever say but the puppy love phase was one that they gladly skipped. Maxime smiled, "What is it you wanted to show me, when we spoke earlier you sounded so exhilarated."

Hagrid suddenly seemed even more happy, "You'll be glad you came, trust me."

Hagrid led Maxime through the woods, they reached some bushes and Hagrid pulled them out of the way just in time for fire to come from what looked like a crate. Madam Maxime gasped, "Lause magnifique." Danny was a bit surprised and Maxime spoke, "Can we get closer?"

Danny made himself visible and came out from behind a tree, "Dragons, the first task involves dragons?"

"Come on Danny, they're just seriously misunderstood creatures." At that moment one breathed fire in their direction, "Although, I have to admit that horntail is a right nasty piece of work, poor Ron nearly fainted just seeing them you know."

Danny looked at Hagrid, "What does Ron have to do with this?"

"His brother Charley had to bring them over from Romania, didn't Ron tell you that?"

Danny shook his head, "We're not exactly on speaking terms, I think I lost one of the few people I consider a friend." Danny felt tears run down his face and he quickly wiped them away, "Sorry, it's been over a year since I've done that." Hagrid gave him a sad look and he cleared his throat a little, "I'll leave you to your date."
