Danny was currently in the great hall with Hermione and Ron, a few girls had said hi to him but he wouldn't even look at them. He could feel a few people staring at him and he heard giggling, when he looked it was that girl from the train. He believed her name was Cho, he'd heard her name once or twice but he really didn't care enough to talk to her.

Danny turned back to his food just before Hermione spoke, "Look at this, I can't believe it she's done it again." She read from the article, "Miss Granger, a plain but ambitious girl, seems to be developing a taste for famous wizards. Her latest prey, sources report, is none other then the Bulgarian bonbon Viktor Krum."

"No word yet on how Danny Phantom is taking this latest emotional blow."

Danny sighed, "Is she serious?"

All of a sudden a kid walked up to Ron and handed him a box, "Package for you Mr. Weasley."

Ron took the package, "Ah, thank you Nigel." Nigel stared at Danny who was doing his best to pretend he hadn't noticed and Ron spoke, "Not now, later." Nigel left and Danny and Hermione looked at Ron, "I told him I'd get him Danny's autograph."

Danny looked slightly confused, "Who the hell would want my autograph?"

Ron just opened the package before he spoke again, "Oh look, mum sent me something." He took it out and looked at it, "Mum sent me a dress."

Danny smirked, "Oh please tell me there's a bonnet or something." Danny took something out of the box, "Oh my god there is, look."

Danny held it up to the dress and Ron had him put it back in the box before walking over to Ginny. "Ginny, these must be for you."

Ginny looked at it, "I'm not wearing that it's ghastly."

Hermione laughed and Ron looked at her, "What are you on about?"

Hermione looked at him, "They're not for Ginny, they're for you." Everyone else at the table started laughing, "Dress robes."

Ron looked horrified, "Dress robes, for what?"

Danny couldn't help but laugh a little, "Tell you what, I'll try to fix the damn thing, if I can't I'll burn it and get you new ones." Ron just sat down and slid the box closer to Danny, the teen took the box and left the great hall. He put the box on his bed so he could at least attempt to fix them later before going to a meeting McGonagall had called for the Gryffindor house.

The particular event McGonagall was talking about wasn't exactly bringing a smile to his face. McGonagall looked at them as she spoke, "The Yule ball has been a tradition of the triwizard tournament since it's inception. On Christmas eve night we and our guests gather in the great hall for a night of well mannered frivolity."

"As representatives of the host school I expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward. And I mean this literally because the Yule ball is, first and foremost, a dance." The girls seemed excited while the boys didn't look too happy, Danny was more horrified then anything. McGonagall spoke, "Silence."

They all shut up, "The house of Godric Gryffindor has commanded the respect of the wizard world for nearly ten centuries. I will not have you in the course of a single evening besmirching that name by behaving like a babbling bumbling band of baboons. Now to dance is to let the body breath, inside every girl a secret swan slumbers longing to burst forth and take flight."

Ron whispered something to Seamus but Danny wasn't listen, however McGonagall apparently was because she turned toward them. "Inside every boy a lordly lion prepared to prance, Mr. Weasley."

Ron looked at her, "Yes?"

"Will you join me please." Ron awkwardly got up and Danny was holding back laughter, McGonagall looked at Ron. "Now, place your right hand on my waist."
