Hyunjin is looking at her with oh-so-lovely stare. Capturing every single details on her beautiful face. The dimples on her cheeks. Kissable but thin lips. Her pink locks. Brown orbs. She's perfect in his eyes.
In the other hand, Heerin is 'busy' in her own world, also known as food. She's eating kimchi japchae (Korean noodle dish) without minding the person sitting before her. She takes the last bite before leaning her back against the chair with a sigh escaping her lips. She is full, finally.
Gazing to the person sitting in front, she spots the guy zooming out with his hands supporting his chin. She waves her hand on his face, snapping him out from his daze.
"Why aren't you eating" she asks, seeing the untouched food on his plate. He ignores the older before standing up and walking away from the restaurant. Heerin face-palms internally, paying for the food and follows him anyway.
Hyunjin is walking way faster than her. He doesn't even care to slow down his big pace and waits for her. Heerin being the older and more mature pair pays no heed to him.

He walks up straight to god knows where. Not giving a single glance at the frustrated girl behind him.
He goes inside a convenience store, making the girl scrunches up her nose in puzzle. She sits on one of the chair outside, waiting for him. Later, she saw him walking out from the store with two ice cream cones in his grasps.
He shuffles to the girl, handing her a chocolate flavored one while he got himself a coconut ice cream. A smile spreads widely across his face. Bipolar much.
"We just had ice creams yesterday" Heerin complains, tearing the paper container. Hyunjin shrugs, licking his already melted ice cream.

They went cycling at Han River after finishing their ice creams. Taking turns to catch each other. Time flew by fast, it's already night as people started crowding the place.
Many generations are there. From the small children running around, teenagers hanging out with their group of friends, to the elders talking animatedly— some are sitting on wheelchairs, some are still strong enough to walk on their feet.
Family, friends, couples are also there spending last minutes of 2018 at the famous spot, including the two love birds. Hyunjin pulls Heerin by the wrist to a less packed place. Sitting on the grass field. Hyunjin holds onto her hand, placing a small peck on the back of her hand.
11:59 pm
Hyunjin turns to look at the girl with sparkles glistening his eyes as the older stares into the night sky full of stars. A loud countdown encores as the most awaited time gets closer.

She comes closer closing the gap between them. Colorful fireworks clacking into some shattering thousands of spark. People cheering in the background.
They gasps for air, staring at each other when a group of energetic guys came running to them whilst yelling out loud.
Turning their heads to them, it's none other than the 8 cheerful friends of them. Jisung is throwing the bang snaps to the ground excitedly along with Felix who keeps shouting '2019' whilst dabbing continuously and Jeongin with his whale-like screaming.
Hyunjin stands up, joining the crackheads. Heerin smiles warmly, laughing at Jisung who gets hit by Minho when he accidentally threw the snappers at him. Chan and Woojin are having fried chickens with cheese on top, Changbin is jumping around happily in which he gets scold from Seungmin for acting so childish but Changbin cared less and joins another crackhead, Jisung. Seungmin catches a glimpse of Heerin. He waves at her with his adorable smile. She rolls her eyes playfully, making her way to her childhood friend.
They spend their new year night at Han River. Each starting their new year with their love ones.

**EDITED** I didn't do anything to this chap actually and finally, I've done editing this story. (I won't touch this Ff ever again) I'll update Identical more regularly now and I'm planning on doing a short story of Woojin called 'Piano' since I don't see much of his fanfics on Wattpad (which made me slightly disappointed) but I'm not sure whether to publish it or not... we'll see
