Black suits. Black shoes. Swollen eyes. I'm standing in front of mum's grave — blank mind.Everyone who came, gave me a pitiful face, saying 'I'm sorry for your loss' 'she was a good person' — I hated it. She's not gone. Not yet.
"Jinnie, let's go home" a feminine voice whispers to my ears whilst I'm still zooming out at a picture of mum smiling so beautifully. She always looks angelic.
Heerin pulls me up gently, brushing off dead leaves on my suit. We walk through rustle of orange-like leaves to the black tinted car parked just down the road. It's finally the autumn session. My favorite season out of all four of them, but since today, I don't feel like it would be anymore. Only a hurtful, unforgettable memory can I think of when remembering the first day of autumn.

I was wearing a full white attire. Hair was comb neatly. All I could see was white walls, white floor. Everything was a pure white. I was as if trapped inside a white box.
Until my eyes landed on an odd bench in the middle of the plain room. There, I saw a lady around her 40s sitting whilst caressing a little boy.
"Mum". I mumbled which left in a questionable way . The woman turned around with a bright smile on her face. She looked so ethereal, so bright. She waved her hand, indicating me to come near her.
And so I walked towards her. The little boy in her embrace who I saw before was nowhere to be found. She smiled warmly at me, patting her thighs for me to lean on. I did what she asked me to. I rested my head on her thighs and pulled my knees to my chest, laying on the bench whilst facing the new surroundings before me.
The vicinity of white was gone from my sight as it was replaced with a heavenly view of a garden. I found myself staring into the colorful flowers and the wide greenfield. No one was there except for the two of us yet it was so pleasing that I wanted the time to stop forever. I felt a sudden touched on my head. She was caressing my hair gently like the old good days I missed dearly.
I could feel LOVE. A motherly vibe from her small action. I started to tear up. She gazed my sudden burst.
Asking why I was crying. I shook my head, smiling at her with still tears falling down my cheeks. I was in cloud nine. Her smile only broadened. She pulled me in a hug.
"Sorry for not making it. Live your life the fullest. Find your happiness. I'll always love you, my only son" she murmured in a soothing tone.
And her form broke into millions of fragments — disappearing in the thin breeze. She was once again gone like a dust flew into the wind.
I was awake because of the dream. Sweat dripping of my forehead. Was it just a dream?
"Are you okay?" I turn to the owner of the voice. The look she's wearing at the moment are worrisome and curiosity.
"Just a nightmare" I reply simply even when I admit to myself that it was the greatest dream I have ever dreamt of after the incident. She gives me a squeeze on my hand, nodding before walking away.
She left me just like that
I pout and about to stand up from the bed I'm currently sitting on, but a hand stops me.
"Sit" she instructs, handing me a glass of water.
I sip on it, placing the empty glass on my bed table. I can feel her burning gaze on me whilst doing so.
"I thought you've gone home, noona?" I look at her, flustering the girl who was staring before. I always drop the honorific.
"Ah-I-uh- will head home first. Rest well" she packs her things up, ready to leave the room as soon as possible.
I grab her hand. She glances at the grip on her wrist.
"Never said you have to leave though"
