When Anjali entered her apartment, it was in a total mess.Everything out of place, dishes undone, clothes scattered on her bed, the bedsheet was rumpled, even the floor was dirty. She felt so embarrased, especially after coming back from Aaryan's house, which was indeed immaculate. And state of things here, in her house were completely opposite.
Anjali got mentally prepared for another two hours of work. She had to organize everything so that her flat looked presentable...or atleast livable.
She first changed into her night gown, and then started with the dishes, washed them, arranged the kitchen, mopped the floor and organized the clothes, and then soaked the soiled clothes in the washing machine.
Today, she was literally cursing herself for not keeping a maid, as she had to do all chores along with the office work, but she had thoughtfully decided against keeping a maid..as a maid would be an additional burden to her already existing fiscal responsiblities.She8 wanted to save as much as possible.Furthermore , now a days keeping a maidservant was like appointing a 'brabble machine' to do the household chores, which was indeed more bothersome than doing all the work youself.
At the end of the day, Anjali was tired to the last bone.
Her mind kept reminding her of the pending office task constantly. When she looked at herself in the mirror, she found that her hair was tousled, her clothing was disheaveled, and she had dark circles under her eyes. She looked terrible..ghostly.She decided to go for a quick shower before going off to sleep.
Anjali wondered how Aaryan managed to look perfect, even after whole day of work. She felt guilty for not checking out on her appearance before."What would have Aaryan thought of me", but then she reprimanded herself for thinking about him again."He is just another colleague. What's there to be so bothered about"..Anjali sighed."Comparisions can kill..If its with someone like him...be it looks, or work , education, arts, cooking or even house management..unparalleled capabilites in every dimension".she thought.
It was way beyond midnight when Anjali finally slept.
Next morning , Anjali woke up early. After brushing and having breakfast, she started examining the pricelist of various products which she had obtained from the Sales department, the previous day.It was really nerve wrecking to look into so many numerical figures as early as 5 in the morning. She felt as if she would sleep again..so she cooked herself black coffee. When she ended up checking out on almost hundred item details, ranging from cosmetics to food products, she realized that it almost took her three solid hours ,and it was her time to get ready for the office.
Once again , she was running out of time. But still she prepared her lunch somehow, and packed it.Then she had bath, which took no longer than five minutes. She had grown habituated to this rush in the morning.Anjali finally dressed up in white cotton pants and dark red cotton stretch shirts. This combination was one of her favourites, it made her look smart, and Anjali wore it as she wanted to look good today."God knew why"
She also spent time tying her hair into a front braid.
Then she drove to office.
As usual Tia greeted her,she always reached before Anjali.Sameer also greeted her. Then Anjali made her attendence and went into her cabin.
The whole day she didn't get time to converse with anyone. She finally quoted down the prices of hundred items she had checked, putting down each detail ,with great caution.

In Aaryan's room , again Kaira was already present there before he reached.."What..man! Why can't they provide her with a differnt job.atleast a different place..other than my cabin.. .I don't exactly need a secretary , who keeps drooling over me", he uttered in his breath.
