"Hey new kid!"
Denki froze as he did his best to blend into the small crowd of omega-level heroes that chattered and mulled around him in the training room.
"New kid I'm talking to you!"
He bit his lip and reluctantly followed the voice to a tall well-muscled young man with two sharp horns, a long scaled tale, dragon-like wings, and eyes that could kill a villain just by staring at him. The man made eye contact and gestured for him to come over.
Denki's eyes widened and he pressed a figure to his chest, looking around for anyone else who he might be addressing.
The man glared at him and nodded.
Denki bit his lip and slowly slipped through the small crowd.
Great. He was going to be killed his first day.
The young man with his dragon quirk looked Denki over with his piercing eyes. "You're Denki Kaminari right?" he asked. "New kid?"
Denki silently nodded, biting back a quick remark about the mob of hair on his head so as not to be impaled by his horns.
The man grinned slightly. "I'm Cole," he introduced himself before jabbing a finger behind him at four other heroes. "That's Kitty, Splash, Biggs, and Mix. Teach' said that you were our new member since Claw dropped out. You're quirk is electricity right?"
Denki nodded.
Cole grinned showing a mouth full of sharp teeth and slapped a hand on his back nearly knocking him over. "Welcome to the team Sparky!"
"My name isn't Sparky it's--" he hesitated eyeing cole's sharp teeth and well-toned muscles. He bit his tongue. "--never mind."
A loud voice echoed through the training room, announcing that the first exercise was about to begin and explaining the rules.
"Don't disappoint us Pikachu," Cole ordered, pulling him over to the rest of the group.
Denki bit his lip but reluctantly nodded.
What did he get himself into?
