She loves hard
She cares greatly,
And in the end she ends up hurt,
But it's not their fault,
She is the one to blame
So she destroys herself.
Not knowing any other way.
She laughs loud,
She smiles wide,
Never would you see
Her tears or
Heartbreak,
She's learned to not always give
Away her heart,
But he snuck away with it.
And so here
She sits,
In the shower with blood running down the drain
She stares at the cuts on her legs and wonders
Will she ever be good enough?
Will someone ever love her?
She muffles her cries by the water beating down on her,
And slowly she wipes her eyes and turns the shower off,
Gets out and dries off,
Puts on her make-up and gets dressed,
You would never know that this morning
She was bleeding in the shower
She's been good at hiding her pain
She's tried to love less, but
Have you ever felt love?
That's why she can't
She doesn't want him to feel hated.
Everything she does is for him,
And because of him.
There is nothing she would change
Except that he knew love.
She wants nothing but his happiness.
She wants nothing but happiness.
