Now that I think about it, I wasn't Lois lane, I was Harley Quinn. Wanting a toxic love that was killing me. Stupid me. I thought I could turn him into you. Stupid me. No one can ever compare to you. I was Harley Quinn. You just couldn't tell. Instead of white faced, I was tan skinned. Instead of the bodysuit, it was heels. Instead of maniacal laughs, it was tears. Stupid me. I let you leave. Stupid me. I never realized how great you were. Even I thought I was fine. Even I thought I was your Lois lane. Stupid me. The signs were there. Stupid me. There were maniacal laughs. They were just at night, when everyone was asleep. I was Harley Quinn, trying to make the joker into superman. When superman was right there in front of me holding out his hand.
