Anxiety.

You dread this feeling,
It's worse than anything with which you're dealing.

Hands start shaking,
Heart begins racing,
Teeth in an incessant chatter,
Frightened dry, lips quiver,
You are speech impaired,
And in desperate need of a friend.

There are inexplicable bursts of anger,
And the worst kind of insomnia.
You cry profuse rivers of tears,
Paranoid about all your fears,
Feeling for no reason extremely down,
With your face etched into a sad frown.

You wish you could just fade away,
So that this feeling wouldn't stay.
They keep saying it gets better,
But does it ever?
