She was never well,
But not even the prying eyes could tell,
The darkness that crept slowly and stealthily around her fragile skin,
Attacking without justice, not giving her the chance to win.Her movements became sluggish as the days passed,
But her response still unwavering whenever she was tasked,
She tried to put up a smile for all,
Which hid the parts of her that were gone.As more days went by,
And she struggled to comply,
She found herself forlornly asking why,
Always going to bed with a defeated sigh.Maybe it was fate,
Or wrongly written in the stars,
But as the wounds on her skin became scars,
And her eyes lost that spark so bright,
She wondered the reason her life was this unfortunate.A/N: Thanks for reading!
