When She Danced.

Every burden was beginning to weigh
All around her, poised to stay
And not even frequently cold showers
Could wash all of her shoulders

She tried to write
But even the inked words of comfort
Failed to make her life bright

Then she moved to music
But not even good old rock n'roll
Could put some colour in her soul.

As she lay down, shattered
She gathered up the pieces of her broken self
Suddenly rising up
And forgetting everything that mattered
She danced

So her rhythm wasn't so great
But her irregular groove
Took a caressing toll not only on her troubled spirit
But also her volatile fate
