It's a new day,
It's a new year,
It's a new life.
Everything stale and old is not only buried,
But locked away with the maps set ablaze,
And its ashes seized by the farewell winds of yesterday.
Turn the dusty old page to a new chapter,
Play a different tune,
Dance to a different rhythm,
Open your heart to embrace unknown emotions,
Make yourself heard!
The only thing that will stop you now,
From daring to be different,
Discovering in yourself the unknown,
Transgressing against the odds,
Thrusting yourself into new beginnings,
Is your choosing to limit your imagination, your feelings, your heart,
You.
