A Break & A Shock

Jaces POV

Feeling my families emotions, is horrible. Especially, Dahlia. I shouldn't have left but, this seems like the best way to go. I haven't been on two feet in so  long. I've gotten close to the border and I've spotted rogue's near by it. I left them there and kept running. I haven't really eaten anything, well I stole from a store, and it wasn't the best idea. I almost exposed wolves messing with the cashier and manager. They beat me with a broom. I still ran off though.

I really cared, for Maria. And I know I was wrong for what I did. But, I've always wanted to be more then her best friend. I mean, ever since sixth grade I've felt this way about her. Diana on the other hand, I mean, honestly I didn't like her. And I couldn't deal with the fact she didn't save herself for her mate because I felt it was wrong how she messed with every guy in school. She never cleaned after herself and just, she wasn't my type. She was my mate though and, I did love her at a time. Before I left, I slept with Diana. She wasn't the one who made me want to leave, my head was in the wrong place at the wrong time and just, I ruined everything. I mean, with Maria, my reputation, my friends and family. I am a horrible person aren't I?

'You're  stupid  for  leaving  our  mateDumbass.' my wolf, Jackson growled.

I rolled my eyes at him, walking to a near rock. I sat on it hoping for a sign that would talk me into going home.

Rickey's POV

"Oooh!" I heard my mother  moan in my parents' room. This is not how I planned to spend my damn night. They've been doing that for what seems like all fucking day. I came home, because I felt the need too. Maria, yeah she's my little sister and yes I love her to death. I'd do anything for her. I used to bully her a lot. Xavier and I were best friends for a long time and then he had sex with the love, of my life. Sasha Andrus. She had long, blonde hair, her eyes were green, but would change to grey sometimes which I found sexy. She was tall, but not too tall she was exactly at my chin. I loved how she dated Xavier behind my back.

I woke up the next day and just really couldn't wait for school. School and I never ever got along. I wasn't good at anything and I didn't try at all but I am very smart. I didn't try, but I got some good grades, I mean, I just don't apply myself. But even though I don't do the work I still could do it and get straight A's.

I guess you get the point now huh?

As soon as I got out of the shower, I pulled on my green jogging pants and a yellow tee. I left my hair the same as it was messy and sticking up everywhere with my bangs covering my eyes. I put on my black Nike's and groaned in annoyance as my mother did the same knock on my door that she did every time she woke me up for school as a kid.

"Knock knock!" mom knocked on the door five times, then four, then three, and so on until she got to one.

"Mom, I'm seventeen not twelve." I growled, opening my door.

"I thought you loved that knock though." mom frowned looking up at me. I was way taller then her but she could beat me down to her level. I would never, ever, abuse a woman. I would probably kill anyone that does such a thing.

"I do, it's just that I am older now." I smiled and she returned it.

"You've grown to be such wonderful, responsible man. I'm so proud of you." she said playing in my hair. I frowned and moved away, fixing my hair.

"Thank you and you don't look a day over fifty." I smiled devilishly.

"Really? Because, I'M ONLY THIRTY-TWO!" She growled walking off to her bedroom. I laughed and went downstairs, getting the cereal from the top of the fridge. It feels like nothing has changed, since I left.
