Maria's POV

I groaned as Xavier shook me.

"Good morning to you too then," he said sadly. I opened my eyes a bit to see him staring at me, smiling. I closed my eyes back, "Hi."

"Hey sunshine, it's time to go," he announced.

"Why, where I meant."

"Home," he answered and I smiled. Home sounds so good to me. I could just picture the beautiful couches and lamps and let's not forget my bed!

"Why are you smiling so widely?" Xavier asked.

"What? Let's go! Home sounds so good right now, I mean the bed, the sheets, the shower..." I trailed off smiling.

"Tired?" Xavier asked.

"Very but-"

"But you'll go to sleep," he chuckled. I kissed his lips and he giggled dramatically. I laughed at him and he pulled me to my feet. "Let's go home sleepy head," he said. Picking me up off my feet. I squealed followed by a laugh. "Home," I sighed and he laughed.

I shot up out of my sleep from a dream. "Lia?" my mates voice groaned. I looked to my left to see him staring up at me. "You okay?" Xavier asked.

I sighed laying back down. "Yes, it's cold..." o shivered but smiled.

A run sounds so perfect right now. I got out of my bed, walking towards the dresser.

"Where are you-" Xavier got out of bed.

"A run." I answered putting on a jacket and slipping on some jogging pants.

"This late? No Maria you'll get sick, it's cold, and you know what happened last time you went for a run," he whispered.

I froze remembering the night I was kidnapped.

"Wanna come?" I asked him.

"But I tired!" he complained in a whiny tone.

"Please?" I begged not wanting to go alone.

He sighed, "Okay, okay. I'll come."

I smiled as he got out of bed, putting on just his pants. I had to admit, Xavier did have a sexy body. "You like what you see?" he smirked, glancing down at his eight pack.

"No, I don't like the view of trash." I joked and he rolled his eyes.

"You know you want this," he carcassed his chest.

"Come on before you hurt yourself," I laughed walking out of the bedroom and running down the hall to the stairs. Xavier was by my side in a second and he picked me up. I scowled at him, "Put me down,"

"Someone's snappy." he frowned.

"No, but I can get snappy-" he cut me off.

"No! I was playing around your not snappy." he rushed out. I leaped out of his arms and sprinted towards the door. "Luna, I'm sorry but you can't, it's-" one of the guard's began.

"It's alright, Ben. I'm going with her." Xavier stated.

Ben bowed to us both before we walked outside.

"You have security, just for me?" I growled.

"Yes," he answered.

"Why? I don't need a guard watching me at night."

"I care about you, Lia."

"Whatever," I groaned shifting into my wolf form running away. I fell, hard. My eyes shut.

"Maria," a voice mumbled. I squinted my eyes to see the person. It was Xavier. I squeezed my eyes shut then opened them.

"Wh-What happened?" I grumbled. My voice was quiet and weak. I took in my surroundings quickly, I was at a hospital. Everyone surrounded me, I felt their breaths, heard their heart beats, and smelled them. All of my senses were more...better, I guess. Enhanced.

"We don't know yet," Derek said.

"No, we do. You're wolf, felt trapped when she found out I had guards watching over you. Due to her freaking out, you let her take over and people got a little hurt." Xavier stated.

"What do you-" I was cut off by a doctor walking in.

"What's wrong with me?" I demanded.

"Maria, congratulations. You're pregnant." the doctor stated.

"What!?" everyone, including me, screamed.

"I'm so happy!" my mother shouted.

"I'm not pregnant," I growled snatching the needles and clothes off of me, and got out of the hospital bed.

"Yes, you are." she showed me the results. I gasped.

"She's, pregnant..." Xavier said quietly.

'Did you know about this!?' I asked my wolf.

'I was going to tell you-' she started before I blocked her out.

"I'm not pregnant," I refused.

"Maria-" Xavier started.

"No!" I growled at him before storming out of the room and out of the hospital and shifting.
