Meeting Livia Marcie Hinnle

Maria's POV

I woke up by hearing glass fall. I frowned and felt Xavier's arms tighten around me. I drifted back off to sleep, hoping not to be interrupted from anything else.

Too bad for that because then I felt someone breathing on me. I opened my eyes to see Kyle staring at me. "Hi." he smiled at me. I smiled back at him and pulled out of Xavier's grip. I picked him up and walked out of the bedroom. I looked around, and saw a vase broke. "Did you do that?" I whispered to Kyle.

"Sorry." he pouted.

I grinned, "It's fine. You didn't know."

He nodded and then began playing in my hair. I put him down and swept up the glass, well at least the big pieces. The rest was going to be needed to be picked up by the Omega's.

"Maria?" I heard Derek whisper. I turned to see him. He and Abby were in their sleep wear, I chuckled. "I found Kyle."

"We've been looking every where for him." Abby picked him up as he ran over to her. "Sorry if he woke you," Derek added.

"No it's fine, I was sort of already up." I told him.

"Did he break that?" Derek pointed to the glass in the dust pan I was holding.

"Yeah,"

He sighed.

"Sorry." Abby frowned.

"It's fine, I promise." I nodded. They nodded back before heading back to bed. I threw the glass away.

Well, now that I'm awake I should do something useful. I made myself a mug of hot chocolate and decided to deliver all the unopened presents to the person's room.

After I was done with that, I reached to the back and pulled one last present from under the tree. It was for me, surprsingly.

It was from Xavier.

I smiled, opening it. There was a little box, that had my name on it. I opened the box to see a beautiful charm bracelet, it had a diamond heart on it.

"Maria?" A voice made me jump.

I turned to see Xavier, he was grinning. "I see you've found your Christmas present."

I shrugged, "Guess I didn't have time to get it yesterday."

He chuckled. "What are you doing awake so late at night. It's like four in the morning."

"Kyle, woke me up and then I couldn't go back to sleep so I just...put everyone's presents in their rooms."

"I heard glass break." he frowned.

"Kyle tipped over a vase, I cleaned it up though."

He smiled at me.

"What?"

"You're so nice." he said.

"Nice? What do you mean?"

"I mean you're thoughtful. Normally someone would leave glass on the floor and then act like they didn't see it."

"Well I'm not that person. I like things neat."

"I guess that explains why my clothes are sorted by color." he laughed softly. I joined him.

"Thank you, for the charm bracelet, I mean it's beautiful."

"I'd do anything for you baby." he pecked my lips. He put the bracelet on me, and of course it fit perfeftly.
