Lovey Dovey

Xavier's POV

I groaned in annoyance when Maria ran off. "Alpha —" before the doctor could finish I left to find my mate.

'Maria, where did you go?' I ask.

She didn't answer, but I felt that she was fine.

I sighed, running out of the hospital and finding her scent. It was very close. I walked until I heard her voice. "You're pregnant, Maria." she told herself.

"No your not. That doctor doesn't know what she's talking about." she corrected.

"Maria just believe it, you're pregnant." after she paced around for a second, she said, "I'm blaming Xavier. Damn him! It's all his fault!"

I frowned but chuckled. I scratched the back of my head and shook it off. She noticed me and frowned running into my arms.

"I'm sorry," she muffled. I frowned, "There's nothing to be sorry for baby."

She cried into my chest while I whispered things to make her feel better. "I'm blaming you," she growled and I laughed.

"Don't blame me because you weren't screaming that when I licked—"

"Okay now your sleeping on the couch." she barked and I frowned.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yes." she looked up. I kissed her lips and she smirked but it disappeared quickly making me laugh at the affection I have on her. "You're so annoying."

"Yeah whatever big head," I said.

"I have a big head?" she started crying. I wanted to laugh so, so bad but I stopped myself.

"No baby you have a perfect sized head, I promise." I said.

"No! You're a liar! Liar!" Screamed Maria.

"Maria! You don't have a big head I was kidding!" I yelled.

"Why are you screaming at me!? What did I do to you huh!?" Maria sobbed. This must be a mood swing. I forgot how enhanced the mood swings are, they are very rare to a pregnant woman but with Maria being Luna with beta blood, it's worse than ever.

I sighed calming myself down before I laughed. "Baby you don't have a big head. I'm sorry for saying that it won't happen again." I said.

Maria smiled, "You are so sexy right now."

I laughed as hard as I could. I couldn't hold it in anymore. Maria laughed with me.

"You guys are weird." Francine said approaching us with everyone behind her.

"I'm not weird!" Maria screamed. I frowned and growled at Francine. She shrugged.

"Congratulations!" They all yelled.

"Thank you," Maria smiled. "I wanna go—" she yawned. "home."

Everyone groaned.

'This is how it's going to be for seven months?' Derek asked.

'Yes, and I am so ready for it.' I replied.

'She's going to be worse than this soon,' Francine said.

'I know.' I stated.

'She's glowing already,' Rickey said.

"I want to go home!!!" my mate growled. I mentally growled back.

"Okay, we're going." I groaned.

"What's your problem? You're not the pregnant one here!" Maria sighed.
