A/N so here is it, the first chapter of the second part of Castle their story, hope you like it :)
2 years later
Now Cosmo is 4 years, Emily (their daughter, Beckett was pregnant with her in the end of part 1) is 2 Alexis is 22 and Maddy is 14. Jimma (Jim and Martha) still together and happy living in Jim's place, Alexis is living with her boyfriend, Roy, Castle actually liked him, he was exactly Alexis type, so he didn't hesitated to let her daughter move in with him. Castle and Beckett live in the loft with their 3 kids (one is adopted but Maddy is like a daughter for them, she even call them Mom and Dad now)
They are in October now, in the precinct there's a new rule, new schedules, they all work Monday to Friday, they have the weekend off, Christmas holidays, Easter holidays and the ones that everyone love, summer holidays, the biggest one, June to September. and everyday they left at 6:15pm except at Mondays and Fridays, Mondays they're there till 8pm and at Fridays they left at 4pm.
For Castle and Beckett these is a good schedule, Cosmo and Emily left the kindergarten everyday at 5pm, at Mondays Jimma pick them up and they dinner with them including Maddy cause she finish her classes at 5:30, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the also pick them from school but Castle and Beckett pick them up after exiting the precinct and at Fridays they are the ones going to the kindergarten and then they usually go to the park with Jenny and Ryan for them to play to play with Sarah Grace, She's in a different school.
Castle knocked at Jim's door, as he opened they heard a scream
"Mommy, Dad" Cosmo screamed running to the door and jumping to Castle arms
"Hey buddy, did you have fun in Grams house?"
"Yes we played with my cars" Cosmo answer with his cute voice and castle and Beckett smiled at each other.
Castle and Beckett walked inside and Emily was sitting in the couch watching Disney, she was watching Mickey Mouse, mostly she didn't understood but she liked to watch it
"Thank's for staying with them, I don't know what would we be without you two, your really helping us" Beckett said to her father and Martha, Castle was sitting in the couch with Emily and Cosmo
"We love them they are really cute, Cosmo is just like Richard when he was his age" Martha said and Beckett let out a smile thinking about
Cosmo and Emily were very similar, if a stranger sees them together will immediately tell that they are brother and sister; from Castle they had the blue eyes and they were both really tall for their ages and from Beckett they had hair color and the skin tone.
"Guys lets go home?" castle asked them
"But we want to see Mickey Mouse daddy!" Cosmo spoke for him and Emily that was so focused on the TV that did even heard her dad
"You can watch at home and we have a surprise right?" Castle said looking at Beckett waiting for her to answer
"Guess who's going to dinner with us?" She asked
"Sarah Grace?" Cosmo really liked Jenny and Ryan's daughter, she was just an year older and they practically were raised together since Cosmo born.
"No, your sister" Beckett finally "But tomorrow we're going to the park with Sarah Grace sweetie"
"Yay Alexis is going to eat with us" He said jumping in the couch and everyone laughed.
Castle putted Emily in her baby car and Beckett was putting Cosmo his shoes on, then they went home where Maddy was since 5:30.
Maddy after school always walked home, she was already grown up, she was very mature, more than Castle in fact, after school she always went home to do her homework, she could take care of her siblings but her classes finished after them, except Fridays, at Fridays she don't have school in the afternoon so she usually goes to the park with her family, and in the weekends, when Castle and Beckett have something to do, there she take care of Cosmo and Emily.
"Maddy, we're home" Beckett screamed
Maddy came down from her room and hugged her parents
"Maddy" The little Emily screamed and hugged Maddy's legs
"Hey buddy" She said carrying her sister
"Alexis is going to dinner with us ok?" Castle asked her
"Sure I missed her, the last time we saw her was last month" Alexis was very busy now, she had finish university and was now working in her area, she's a psychologist in a school
If you're thinking where is Cosmo's and Emily's room, its easy, as Alexis moved out, Beckett found out she was pregnant with Emily so Maddy is in Alexis room now and Cosmo and Emily sleep in Maddy's old room, that was the guest room before the family become this big!
After Maddy took a shower, Beckett gave the kids their shower while Castle was cooking the dinner, and as Maddy finished dressing up she went to the kitchen to help her dad. Maddy was also very tall, she was almost Beckket's height (with Beckett out of her heels of course) So Beckett and Alexis both felt pretty small around them.
Maddy loves cooking with Castle, is always funny, they laugh, once Castle just her up and putted her upside down for no reason, she really loves her family.
When Cosmo and Emily were done they went to play, in the living room next to the couch, they have their toys in a box, so they were there playing together and Beckett was watching them, she never let them paly alone, they have always to have someone watching them in case they get hurt or something like that.
Then the door bell rang:
"Its Alexis, can you go open please, Maddy?" Castle asked her
Maddy cleaned her hands and opened the door
"Omg Maddy, you're so tall" Alexis said, they didn't saw each other in ages. they hugged and Roy gave a kiss on Maddy's cheek
"Alexisss" Cosmo screamed standing up and jumping to his sister's arms. Beckett also stood up and went to say hi to them
"Hi guys" She said
"Hi Kate" Alexis answer with a smile but then hugged her so did Roy
At the table
Emily was in her baby chair. They talked a lot but Alexis had news:
"I got another Job, Dad" she said
"Tell me its not in Washington DC" Castle joke looking at Beckett and she also laughed
"No its in another school here in New York, guess which one?" Alexis asked looking at Maddy and smiling and she understood the message
"NY High! no way Alexis" Maddy said really happy
After a couple of hours Alexis and Roy left, around 9 both Cosmo and Emily fell asleep so they didn't said goodbye to their older sister, at 10:30 Maddy went to bed, the next day was Friday so she had to go sleep early.
Castle and Beckett were in their room, they were talking about the book party on Saturday. The idea they had years ago about the book about Beckett's dream came true, the book was coming out Saturday, the kids were staying with Jimma but Castle and Beckett had promise Maddy that after she completed her 14 years she could start go to the her dad book parties, Alexis and Roy were also going, so does Ryan, Jenny, Esposito and Lanie.
After an hour talking about this, they both fell asleep.
