The limousine had three divisions, in one was the driver, on the otherone was Castle and Beckett and in the last one was Alexis, Roy and Maddy. Alexis and Roy were so distracted kissing each other that didnt even noticed that Maddy was on the phone with Emma:
"Girl, dont worry, I'm sure everything will be just fine" Emma said on the other side of the line
"I can't wait to see Mary's face when she find out I was adopted by Richard Castle" Maddy let out a little evil laugh
"I would pay to see her face, that girl is such a bitch, you'll see, when the whole school find out you dad is the famous author and your mom is the best homicide detective in the city, everyone will want to be your friend"
"Yeah, I dont want that kind of friends, I want friends like you, that dont care who my family is and love for who I am"
Meanwhile in the other division, Castle and Beckett heard the whole talk Maddy was having:
"so are you planning to tell me what was your big plan for monday, you sounded pretty excited, and that face is telling me that something stupid is coming up" Beckett said
"No Im not gonna tell you, you'll see"
"Castle, dont do anything stupid, she's already suffering with all of this thing at school"
"Dont worry, I have everything under control"
"uh-hum" Beckett said as making her famous Kate Beckett eye rolling

"Hey I gotta go, we just parked" maddy said and hung up
"Maddy are you ready?" Castle asked from the other divison that was in the other sice of the black wall that was keeping the three divisions separated
"Yeah" The girl answered and they all heard the excitement in her voice
The driver stopped and two men opened the doors, Castle and Beckett got out of the Car, so did Roy, Alexis and Maddy. The two couples were walking elbow to elbow and Maddy was next to castle and Beckett, was amazing for her walking in that red carpet that was going to lead them to the bar/restaurant, all the papparazis taking photos, the flashes on her faces, screams, was the world of fame.
In each side of the door was the cover of the new book "Heat dream" this time the cover was painted with a light green and was a woman with a gun and next to her head a cloud, the style was the same as the rest of the colection, but this time the book was different for both Castle and Beclett, because they both wrote it, together.
They walked inside and all the guests were there (Mary's mom worked there so she had an authorization to let her daughter go with her), a girl walked next to them and said:
"Come with me Mr. Castle, I'll show you your table" they all followed the woman till their table.
The table had a card saying "Reserved to the Castle family" the woman as they sat took that paper out and then looked at us:
"would you like to order your dinner?" she asked
Castle looked at his watch and raised his eyebrows "Its 6:30pm Im sure no one eats dinner so earlly, We'll just place our things here and talk with the guests" Castle answered and smiled at the girl
Maddy noticed that she had a plate pinned in her shirt "Kim Parker" it says the plate "Mary Parker" she thought to her self
The woman was just about to leave but Maddy stopped her
"Wait ma'am" she said and everyone in the table looked at her "I think I know your daughter, is she here? Mary and I are such good friends do you mind call her?"
"Sure I'll bring her here" Kim said sending a friendly smile making Maddy think "How can that bitch be daughter of this friendly woman"
"I thought you hated her" Castle said, Beckett sent him a look at his question,he could be so blind sometimes. Beckett looked at Maddy and winked at her, she had understood her plan.
"Can anyone tell me what just happned, who's that girl?" Alexis asked not knowing what was going on there
"I'll tell you later" Maddy replied
After a couple of minutes they all saw the woman walking in their direction with a bitchy blond girl next to her. When they reached the table:
"Hi Mary, are you enjoying the party?" she asked enjoying that moment she was having torturing that girl who had turned her life into hell
"Hi, Maddy, and Mr. and Mrs. Castle" she started trying to be polite, which to be honest, she actually was, but deep inside her she had a demon that was always awake when she was with Maddy, and only Maddy, no one else.
Castle and Beckett were talking to the mayor and Alexis and Roy were God-knows-where and what, and maddy was left alnone in the tavble, so she took a time to read her new book that she was actually loving "Divergent"
"Excuse me for a second" Beckett said looking to castle and the Mayor. She walked towards the table, she was going to call Maddy to her side, she didnt wanted her to feel bored at the party. A couple of meters before reaching her, Kate saw a blond girl sitting next to he, she started talking. There was lots of people talking so Beckett couldnt hear, she got closer:
"Your parents ditch you out?! or should I say the people who you live with and have the same last name as yours" The girl said and let out a evil laugh, she stood up and started walking again, but Beckett blocked her way:
"I actually didnt found that funny, at least MY DAUGHTER has feeling unlike you she cares about people's feelings. Now get out of my way" Beckett said prenoucing My daughter stronger from the other words
"Thanks mom" maddy said as soon as Mary left
"Always. Now come next to me and your dad, Im sure the mayor would love to meet you"
"And who's this little princess?" Bob asked when Beckett stopped with Maddy next to her
Maddy blushed, just then answered "Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Madeline, Madeline Castle"
"Madeline Castle?!" He asked confused "Castle...As the Richard Castle daughter?!" he now asked looking at Castle who hadnt told him about having ANY kids, just Alexis but the mayor knew her since she was 9.
"She's our daughter" Beckett finally said "I'm actually adopted" Maddy added
"Oh so you now have a daughter" He said smiling "Nice to meet you Madeline" he said kissing her hand
"Call me Maddy, that's how everyone calls me"
"Now you" Bob started "We're buddies Rick, why didnt you told me you had a kid"
"In fact we don have just one..." Beckett said lowering her voice till the and of the sentence and looking at her feet
"So?" he asked again
"Bob, why dont you come and have dinner with us next weekend? so you can see them with your own eyes" Castle said
"Them?! so there's more then one?"
"You'll have to go to figure it out" Castle loved to add mystery in everything he would said
"I guess I'll have to except you invitation for dinner"
