They woke up the next morning, it was monday and if you remember, Castle promised Maddy to solve the problems she was having at school. Beckett took the kids to school and then headed to the precinct, meanwhile, Castle was the one taking Maddy to her school on his well known red ferrari, so everyone could see how cool her parents were. After leaving the girl, he drived also to the precinct next to his wife.
"So what leads do we have on the case?" He asked sitting on his chair.
"None, the boyfriend of the victim confessed to the her murder" Kate answered.
"So what do we do now?" Castle asked even knowing he already knew the answer.
"We have lots of paper work"
"Well, I think I should go home" He stated trying to scape to the paperwork thing.
"No, no ,no" Beckett said pulling Castle's arm who was already standing up ready to leave "You're not going anywhere kitten" She completed her sentence. Ryan and Esposito who were also doing paper work on their own desks, were now staring at the couple as they heard Kate calling him 'Kitten'.
"Can you please stay? I'll get bored if you leave" The detective admitted
"I think it was you who told me that you thought it was creepy me watching you doing paper work." He said
"How can you actually remember that, I said that ages ago" she said but the truth is that for both of them, it seemed like yesterday they were meeting for the first time on his book party
"Ok fine, I'll stay" Castle answered sitting back on his chair.
"Thank's" She replied smiling at him, she then rolled her chair with wheels and stopped right in front of him, Kate pulled the lever under her chair to become on his level, their knees were now touching, and they were both staring at each other, Ran and Esposito were still looking at them without them even noticing, Castle leaned to her and she placed both her hands on his knees, he looked to her lips, then to her eyes, then back to her lips and once again to her eyes, she bite her lower lip and finally kissed him, they were so concentrated on their kiss, that Ryan and Espo almost had to scream to be heard:
"Guys?!" They both called them in union. Caskett broke the kiss. "Work place remember?" Ryan stated. Beckett rolled her chair back to the original place and they both blushed and that embarrassing moment and the boys started laughing.
"You guys are really cute but I think you should do that things in your bedroom" Espo joked giving Ryan an Hi5.
"What's so funny here?" Captain Gates asked looking at Esposito and Ryan who couldn't stop laughing even knowing Castle and Beckett didn't found that funny as were really embarrassed.
"Nothing Sir, we were just having a moment of distraction" Ryan finally answered Gates.
At 4pm
Castle and Beckett were on their way to Maddy's school, the girl's teacher wanted to talk with them.
As they entered the school they saw Maddy waiting for them sitting on a chair on the main lobby:
"So where's the classroom?" Beckett asked and Maddy answered:
"The first one you see as you reach the 3rd floor, but you still have ten minutes before talking to my teacher so you could come with me and I can show you the school"
"I better go up, but I'm sure you're dad would like to take a look around, isn't that right, Castle?" Kate asked looking at him
"yeah sure, let's go" He said and him and Maddy left
Beckett was walking in the stair almost on the 3rd floor as Maddy told her, when she shocked with someone and that person let fall something, Kate looked at the floor and saw a phone and a FBI badge, she leaned down to catch it never looking to the person's face, the person never looked at her too. She caught the objects and finally looked to the person in the eyes:
"I'm sorry, here's your phone and bad--" Beckett she was cut by the surprise from who that person was.
"OMG" Beckett and the women in front of her almost screamed at the same time.
Beckett opened her arms so did the women, they have a hug and Beckett exclaimed never stop smiling:
"I never thought I would see you again, Agent"
