After the talk Castle had with Alexis the day before, he decided to spend a day in family calling his daughter to come over.
"Morning" a voice said
Castle turned around to face Beckett, he walked next to her as she stopped rubbing her eyes and turned her sleepy face into a huge smile. She put her arms around his neck and jumped to steal him a kiss, looking at the fact that she wasn't wearing high heels. Castle looked deep into her eyes, if there's thing they like doing, its stare at each other and appreciate their beauty.
"Castle, Bacon's burning" Kate said and took her arms of him letting him run to the food.
Castle continued cooking and Beckett started to put the table on.
"Kate, I called Alexis and she's coming over to spend the day with us" Castle informed his wife.
"I'm so glad you too are getting along again" she answered with a smile
"Thank's to you"
"Its actually thank's to Maddy" Beckett corrected him.
"Talking about the kids, its pretty late, we should wake them" Castle added placing the food on the table
"I'll take the kids and you take maddy this time" and she suggested
They walked upstairs side by side and went to wake up the kids.
Beckett entered Emily's room and saw her sitting in the crib.
"hey" she said smiling at her two year old daughter. Emily's blue eyes met Beckett's and the little girl started laughing making Beckett laugh too.
"Come here sweetie" Beckett said carrying Emily in one arm. She kissed the baby's cheek an took her way to Cosmo's room.
(Cosmo... When Cosmo was born, Castle and Beckett made a deal. Castle wanted so badly to call their first born Cosmo, that Beckett actually let him, with the condition that in case they had another kid, which the did, Emily, she would be the one choosing the name)
Kate opened the door slowly not to scare him. She walked inside and sat in the edge of the bad placing Emily in her lap, then looked at Cosmo. His messy brown hair made Beckett smile, he looked so much like Castle. The thing about their kids is the fact that they're a mix of both of them, Castle's blue eyes, and Cosmo has Castle's hair and Emily Beckett's.
Beckett placed a hand on Cosmo and whispered:
"Cosmo wake up" But just like his dad always does, Cosmo covered his head with the blankets. Beckett took the sheets off him and started tickling him so he would wake up. Cosmo started laughing just then he remembered to hug his mother and sister.
"Let's eat breakfast buddy, your sister's going to visit us" Beckett told him
"Alexis?!" Both Cosmo and Emily asked at the same time
Beckett walked downstairs with Emily in her arm and holding Cosmo's hand. Castle and Maddy were already there
Beckett placed Emily on the floor next to Cosmo, then they both ran to Castle who spun them around. Kate walked to Maddy who was sitting on the couch watching TV:
"Morning mom" she said not taking her eyes off the TV
"where's my hug?" Beckett asked
"sorry" she answered and hugged Beckett as she turned the volume down
"Let's eat breakfast Maddy"
After being all dressed up, the Castle family was sitting on the couch waiting for Alexis. Well Beckett and Maddy were in the couch, Castle was running around the house playing with the kids.
Beckett's POV
Maddy was in her phone and I was just there looking at Castle playing with the kids, it's amazing how or life's changed, years ago I couldn't imagine being married, especially to Castle, who I hated by the time, and now I have this perfect view of him running around the house with our two kids ready to go out in a day in family.
When Alexis arrived they all went to spend the day in the zoo, like a real family.
A/N Guys this year I've been really busy so Im sorry if I take too long to update my stories, about it, I dont know if u noticed but I deleted my stanathan story, the new one, but I promise I'll keep writing this one ( I still have a LOT to write about) and Castle The Journey of Love, I'm sry if this chap was terrible but I wrote it in a paper in my class, otherwise I wouldnt have time to be writing cause the chaps I've been updating in all my stories were al. written during my classes. But the next chapter will be different, I have a suprise for u, someone that has been on the show will comw back to stay, a charecter that appears on season 2 and everyone loved that charecter can u guess who am I talking about?
