Re-cap:
Without another word I ran frantically through the corridors until I reached number 232. Peering inside I saw Daniel fast asleep, he looked much better than the last time I had seen him, his face somewhat restored of its usual colour and his body cleaned of blood.
I sat in the hard and uncomfortable chair by his side and held his hand in both of mine. My fingers brushed over his in rhythmic motions as I stared at his face, hoping he would open his eyes just to know I was here with him.
"I love you, Daniel Collins and you better wake up soon or you're going to have one bitchy girlfriend when you do," I laughed while fresh tears streamed down face.

Daniel's P.O.V
My eyes fluttered open to stare into a dark room. A mechanical humming awas close by and my hand was warm from another's clutching it.
The ache from my shouder was still there but duller, from morphine I presumed. I turned to look at the person sitting with me and found Louisa sitting in what looked like an uncomfortable chair, arched over to rest her head on my bed. From the deep breaths she was taking I could tell she was sleeping but not deep enough as her usual light snore wasn't escaping her.
I traced soft circles on the back of her hand hoping to ease her out of her daze and soon enough she lifted her head and rubbed at her eyes. She sighed and sniffed as a tear fell from her eye. My thumb began its circular motions again and she looked up into my eyes. Her eyes were clouded with exhaustion but the relief and happiness was crystal clear in them. I grinned at her, happy to see her myself.
"Baby, you're awake. Oh thank God," she whispered, her voice hoarse. I winced as Louisa threw her arms around me but didn't draw back, in-fact, I hugged her tighter, afraid that I'd lose her if I didn't. I had an assumption she wouldn't want to know me when she found out the truth.
"I'm sorry I scared you," I apologised, knowing words could never make up for what I'd put her through and what she still didn't know.
"What happened? You were shot! God, Daniel I've never been so scared, I thought I'd lose you when you turned up like that!" She sobbed into my neck. I didn't answer her question, instead trying my best to console her and ease her pain, only to lay it on thicker later but now wasn't the best time.
"Sh-h, it's okay, I'm okay, see? Dont't cry angel," I pleaded. I couldn't bear to see her so distraught and I was the cause of it.
"Who just shoots people? Those people make me sick! I can't believe I could've lost you," she wept. "I might never have seen you again if you hadn't been so lucky. I love you." I almost broke down myself, that could be the last time I ever heard those words come from her lips. I replayed them over and over again, cherishing them. She could never love me now, I was a monster, a murderous monster. I was the kind of person who would make her blood boil and a person who wasn't worthy of her smile, her love, her being.
I felt like a phelony saying the next words, they didn't seem like they could be true after what I'd done but the were, God they were. For now, I was going to be selfish. "I love you too. Always remember that Louisa. No matter what, I. Love. You," I said slowly, emphasizing each word so it sunk in deep.
"I know Daniel, I know."
"Come here," I told Louisa, pulling back the sheets on my bed, gesturing for her to come lay beside me. The bed wasn't much more comfortable than the chair but I needed her to be close to me for as long as possible. Soon, she would know everything.
