Chapter 25

"Daniel, for the last time, NO! You are not seeing her dress before prom night! Don't make me hurt you," Paula threatened Daniel. I lay on the couch, my legs resting on Daniel while Paula bickered with him from her spot on the floor.

"Just one peek, I promise I won't tell anyone," he taunted giving her a wickedly devilish smile. It had me wanting to devour his mouth right there and then and he obviously knew this from the flirty smirk he then gave me.

"Ugh, can you two wait until I'm at least out of the room before you start to undress each other with your eyes," Paula questioned with mock authority evident in her voice.

"Well could you please leave the room then," Daniel joked, a serious tone to his voice.

"Done. Seeing this makes me crave Mike so imma take off. Oh and I hung up your dress, it's even got a protector bag thingy, I was proud of myself," she smiled.

"Thanks, see ya!" I called.

"Someones eager for me to leave," Paula laughed.

"Yeah, yeah, get moving girl," I shooed jokingly.

She waved a final goodbye and Daniel and I were left alone. It felt like we hadn't spent time together in a dogs age so I was glad Paula had left, even if that did make me sound like a bad friend but she'd understand, she had Mike after all and she was worse than me when it came to "alone" time with him. At least I still had my innocence.

"Finally, alone with my girl," Daniel sighed, massaging my calfs. I threw my head back in pleasure letting out a small moan, which was quite embarrassing on my part. Daniel chuckled and his hands were gone and he was suddenly on top of me.

"You're moving fast," I giggled.

"Well I'm just scared we'll get interrupted as always," he shrugged and leaned down to kiss me.

I giggled against his lips before it quickly escalated into a passionate kiss as I ran my tongue along his lips which he nibbled on playfully. My hands roamed his muscled shoulders, being careful of his injury and my lips soon followed their movements as Daniel nibbled on my neck.

As much as I was enjoying our time together, I wasn't quite ready for things to get any steamier so I gave him a gentle push.

"Sorry," he came up and apologised immediately.

"No, don't be, I'm just not ready. Soon but not now," I assured.

"Take all the time you need beautiful," he planted a sweet peck on my lips before sitting up and pulling me into his lap.

"So, are you going to let me sneak a peek at this dress?" He asked, attacking me with those puppy dog eyes he knew I couldn't say no to.

I quickly shit my eyes and looked the other way before I caved in, "no! It's a surprise!"

"Please, angel, I won't tell anyone, I swear." He begged while trailing little kisses along my bare shoulder.

"Ugh! Fine, just one little, tiny, tiny, peek," I had barely finished my sentence when he jumped up rushing to my closet.

"Literally two seconds Daniel I mean it!" I shouted running after him.

The dress was already laid on the bed when I entered the room and he stared at it in surprise.

"Well, I wasn't expecting that but I'm sure you'll look gorgeous in it," he said, uncertainty in his voice.

I was disappointed he didn't like it and decided to return it before I looked down and saw Paula's daring red dress with the plunging neckline.

I laughed out loud uncontrollably.

"What? What's so funny?" Daniel asked confusion on his face and his brow furrowed.

"This isn't...my...dress!" I called out between fits of laughter. Paula knew me to well, she knew I would give in and she had already took precautions she felt necessary as to not let him see my dress.

Daniel joined me in laughing shaking his head, "she's relentless!" He chuckled.

"I know. Looks like you're gonna have to wait lover boy," I teased.

"Say it again," he smiled as he pulled me to him wrapping one arm around my waist while the other was still wrapped in a sling.

"What that you're going to have to wait?" I asked knowing all too well that isn't what he meant.

"No..." He rolled his eyes as if it were so obvious, "the other part." He whispered huskily in my ear.

"Lover boy," I whispered before reaching up to kiss him.

Hey guys! Sorry this is such a short chapter but I really wanted to get this finished quick as I haven't upload in forever! And I'm sorry about that :( it's been hard with exams and all but I hope to get a new chapter up soon which will be the prom chapter so I hope you can bare with me until that's done.
