Kellin's p.o.v:

"...Justin?"

His eyes immediately light up and a huge grin spreads across his face as soon as he sees me.

"KELLIN!" He exclaims, running past my dad and tackling me down to the ground in a bone crushing hug.

I laugh as my dad just shakes his head at the two of us. He closes the front door with a roll of his eyes, though I can still see a small smile resting on his face, I could still see it even from the position I was on the rug.

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I ask with an excited grin. I haven't seen him in months and he just decides to show up at my door this early in the morning?

Classic Justin.

"Your dad didn't tell you?!" He asks as he lets go of me, getting off the ground and offering me a hand.

"Tell me what?" I ask my dad as Justin pulls me up.

"Me and Justin arranged for him to spend a few days here over winter break because I noticed you missed him. It was suppose to be a better surprise than this, he was suppose to sneak into your room and wake you up, but I forgot how loud our door bell is." He shrugs.

I haven't hugged my dad in two years, but this surprise made me so unbelievably happy that I decided just this once was okay.

I hug my dad tightly. He seems shocked at first, which is understandable since as I said, it's been a while, but he quickly hugs back. Justin joins in soon after saying "I want to be a part of this too" which earned a laugh from me and my dad.

My dad pretty much always dislikes my friends, but Justin seems to be an exception. I mean, Justin doesn't like my dad because he knows how much of a dick he is, but my dad likes Justin. I've never known why out of all my friends Justin's the only one, but I'm not complaining.

"How long ago did you guys plan this?"

"About two weeks ago" Justin shrugs. My dad just nods in agreement.

"Two weeks?!" I ask back in astonishment. How the hell did Justin keep this a secret for so long? One time he told me my Christmas present five minutes within buying it.

"I did good! I actually kept a secret, you should be proud of me." Justin smiles brightly.

"I am proud of you" I chuckle.

"Alright, I'm going to go back to sleep since I have to get up for work in three hours, but have fun talking you two. Justin do you want me to take your stuff to Kellin's room?" My dad asks.

"That would be great" he agrees, handing my dad his suitcase.

He takes it and heads up stairs, I say a quick goodnight to him before turning back to my best friend who I've missed more than anything.

"I can't believe you're here!" I grin.

"Me either! I missed you so much you have no idea."

"I'm so excited to show you around, San Diego has some pretty cool shit." I gasp in excitement. "I can't wait for you to meet my new friends! They're all so great, you'll love them!"

"But the question is will they love me?"

"Of course they will! I mean, it's not like they have a reason not to like you."

"Yeah, I guess." He shrugs, unconvinced.

"I'm especially excited for you to meet Vic, he so gre-"

"You know what? I'm really tired. It was a long flight here and I kind of just want to sleep."

"Oh yeah, totally. Um... You can sleep on the couch or I can pull out the old air mattress and put it on the floor in my room if you like?"

"What if we just shared your bed like we did in middle school? It seems the simplest, you don't need to pull out any extra pillows or blankets." He suggest.

"Well I don't think my boyfriend would like it if I shared my bed with some guy that isn't him, even though you're straight and everything I just don't feel right about it. I'm sorry."

"No, don't be. I get it." He nods with a smile. "I'll sleep on the air mattress then."

"Okay, I'll set it up and then tomorrow you can meet my group of friends!"

"Sounds good." Justin adds with a smile, but this smile was different then before, it seemed...fake. Which is rare for Justin.

He's probably just worried my friends won't like him that's all.
