Vic's p.o.v:
My parents are both working, and Mike's over at Tony's house doing god knows what...or god knows who, if you know what I mean. So I was home alone playing video games on the couch, just trying to pass the time.
About two hours into playing fallout, I was interrupted by a loud knock at the door. Pausing my game, I carefully make my way towards it. I may be seventeen, and almost old enough to live on my own, but despise that, I still get nervous when I have to answer the door when I'm home alone.
Like what if it's a murderer, or worse... A Christian who wants to talk about "our lord and savior Jesus Christ."
"Hello?" I greet, as I hesitantly open the door.
"Hi, Vic" Kellin greets, but it's not his usual happy tone he uses when he sees me, he seems... Angry?
"Oh, hey Kellin. I didn't know you we're coming over."
"Yeah, well I need to talk to you about some things." He explains, brushing past me and walking into my living room.
"Um...okay. I'd say come it, but you already did" I chuckle to lighten the mood, but Kellin didn't return it so I quickly stopped. "What did you want to talk to me about?"
"I want to talk about yesterday" he states vaguely, arm crossed as he gives me an emotionless stare. He's acting weird, he's never like this with me.
"About Mike and Tony, yeah I already knew. I caught them hooking up in Mike's room like, two days before they told everyone, except they weren't dating at the time, Mike told me that he wanted to date him tho-"
"Vic" Kellin starts, stopping my mindless rambling.
"Yes?"
"What the fuck are you talking about?" He asks, his face a mixed expression between anger and confusion.
"...clearly not the same thing as you?" I raise an eyebrow at him.
"I'm talking about what happened with you and Justin."
"Oh he told you, thank god. I thought thought you were mad at me this whole time-" I put my hand on my chest, a relieved sigh escaping my lips.
"I am mad at you, Vic. Extremely mad."
I slowly look up at him. "But why? You said Justin told you what happened"
"He did tell me what happened, he told me you said hurtful things to him and then told him to get out of your car immediately. You're lucky he knew how to get to my house from the side of the road you left him at."
"WHAT?!" I raise my voice, shocked at the news.
"That's why you wanted to drive him home! Oh my god, how could I have been so blind, I knew I shouldn't have let this happen-"
"Kellin no, That's not what happened at all" I quickly defend myself.
He lets out a sour, breathy laugh. "Justin told me you would say that."
"You're- you're not going to believe him are you?" I ask, though it came out as more of a sad plead.
The taller boy sighs to himself. He looks down at the ground briefly before looking back up at me. "I- I don't know Vic, I trust both of you so much, but you're both telling me different stories, and now I don't know what to think. I just want you two to get along"
"I'll make it up to you. How about the three of us go see a movie later tonight? It will prove that I don't hate him, and before you argue, I'm paying for you and that's final."
In actuality, I would rather to literally anything else than hang out with Kellin's asshole of a friend, but I'd doing anything to make my boyfriend happy, so I guess it's just the price I have to pay. And if Justin thinks he's going to get away with telling Kellin his made up story, he has another thing coming to him.
Kellin's stern expression slowly turns into a smile. I felt it again, that weird organ hugging feeling. I couldn't help but smile back.
"Okay" he nods with a shy smile.
"Good" I grin. I pull him in for a hug and feel him relax against me and smile into my shoulder, causing me to smile too. It was a calm and peaceful moment until he decided to lean forward and whisper something in my ear.
"Oh and Vic, I hate when people lie to me. So if I find out that you did, I will rip off your testicles, put them in a bowl of pasta, and make you eat them like spaghetti and meat balls."
I gulp nervously as he pulls away from me, an innocent smile on his face like he didn't just say something completely horrifying. I didn't even lie about anything, but I'm still scared as shit.
"Great! me and Justin will be outside waiting for you to pick us up at seven." And with that he calmly walks away, like the cutie he is. I admit I stared at his ass the whole time, but can you really blame me?
