Getting Ready

Nandito kami ngayon sa sala. Katapat ko si Dad habang magkatabi naman kami ni Draven. Si Mom ay wala dahil may urgent meeting daw.

"Elizabeth, I'm sorry. I know it's too late but I'm still sorry." Dad said.

"Dad, just tell me what am I and we're done." I said in a cold tone. Hindi ko kasi mapigilang magalit kay Dad dahil hindi man lang niya sinabi sakin ang mga 'to. Hinintay pa niyang manggaling sa ibang tao bago niya sabihin. Nasasaktan ako.

He took a deep breath. "You are an Iffer. It is a creature that possesses powerful eyes just like yours and Draven's. But you are different from him. You are called Almighty because you have the Crimson Eyes."

"And I have to defeat Hellcat? Why don't you do it then? Draven said that you have the replica of the Crimson Eyes."

"Then ask Shadow. I'm not ready for this things, Dad." It's true. I'm not ready. I don't even know the things I'm capable to do.

"Then I'll make you ready." I looked at him with confusion. Make me ready?

"You'll train with Draven and the other two. You will be a member of their group. The Almighty Group." Dad said. I was shocked. But excited. I'll train! Means no school! Whoo!

"Are you sure with that Mr. Northone? I mean, we will train Empress even if she's stronger than us?" Draven asked. That's right. Dapat yung mga may mas alam tungkol sa mga mata ko ang magtetrain sakin.

"Don't worry, Draven. Shadow will guide you. And don't call me Mr. Northone. Call me Tito." WHAT THE HELL DAD?!

"Oh sorry T-tito." Draven said. Nauutal pa. Parang timang.

"Kailan ako titigil mag-aral, Dad?"

Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Dad. "What? No, no, no. You still have to go to school pero mababawasan ang araw. Hindi mo na kailangang pumasok every friday."

"But why? Hindi ba sagabal sa training ko iyon Dad?" Noooo! Ayoko na sa school. T^T

"You have to cover up. Hindi pwedeng malaman ni Hellcat na naghahanda ka na. Don't worry, kaya mo yan."

"But Daaaad!" Nagpuppy eyes pa ako. Gumana ka!

"Still a no." He faced Draven. "Where are your things?" Huh?

"Nasa kwarto na po. Ganun din po yung mga gamit nila Clark at Maxen." WHAT THE HELL?!

"DITO KAYO TITIRA?!" Oh noooo. Araw araw kong makikita ang tatlong asungot. °^°

"Lower your voice, Empress. And yes, dito sila titira para mabantayan ka nila kahit nasa bahay ka." I looked at Dad with big eyes.

"But--"

"Draven ihatid mo na si Empress sa kwarto niya. Magpahinga na kayo. Goodnight kids." Ani ni Dad at iniwan kaming dalawa dito.

"Tara na sa taas. Inaantok na ako." I just looked at him.

"Hoy tara na!" No!

"Ah ganon ah!" Nagulat ako nang buhatin niya ako na parang sako ng bigas.

"Put me down, Draven!" Sigaw ko habang hinahampas ang likod niya.

"Ayoko nga." Sigurado akong nakangisi ang asungot ngayon.

Pinaghahampas ko siya hanggang makarating kami sa tapat ng kwarto ko. Pagbaba ko ay agad ko siyang sinapak.
