I was just about to go into the garden, when both of them entered with a wide smile.
"Aunty, I am sorry about yesterday. Because of me, sia....." Raghav was saying to mom but she interrupted him.
"It's ok Raghav beta, even I am sorry. I shouldn't have talked to you like that and also blaming you for sia's health was wrong." Mom said.
"No, please don't say this aunty,....."
"Common everyone. Now stop all this melodrama. Let's just forget about this day like a nightmare. Okay?" Dad said.
"Naveen that was for Raghav, not for you. I have still not forgiven you. And for your punishment, you are not going to get any sweets for one week." Mom said glaring towards dad.
"Shilpa, darling don't do this....." dad was saying when mom cut him off in the middle "Two weeks."
"But....." "One month"
"Okay okay fine. One month final. Not more than that please." Dad said pleading like a puppy.
But mom is not an easy nut to crack. She was very angry with dad, and was not sparing even a sight on him.

At first, mom fidgeted in his hold, but later on she gave in. Both of them started to dance as Karthik turned on the music on his mobile.
"So, now your highness, do you forgive me?" Dad asked and bowed in a dramatic way in front of her.
"Naveen, stop it, children are watching." She said and spat on dad's shoulder playfully.
"So what??" Dad said and all of us started laughing at their antics.
"Okay,guys I have an idea. Why don't we go out somewhere to have fun." Karthik said.
"Yeah, that's a great idea Karthik. So where should we go?" Dad said.
"How about a picnic?" I asked.
"Yes, that will be nice. I will prepare some dry snacks for us." Mom said.
"Raghav, Amyra, you both too accompany us. It will be fun." Dad said.
"Uhm....uncle....uh...it's okay. You all should enjoy your family time." Raghav said.
"Raghav, you and Amyra are also family." I said to him.
He smiled and nodded.
**************** After an hour, we were all set to go and we all decided to go Suraj kund as it is a nice picnic spot for families.
After about another hour, we were at the destination.
Mom and me set the things together with Amy while Raghav and dad were struggling for parking space. As it was a weekend, it was quite crowded.
When they both returned, we took our places on the mat and I rummaged through the picnic basket.
