Raghav's pov

Beep..beep..
I woke up to the sound of my mobile.
When I saw, it was a message from Sia.
'Hey! Good morning.'

Reading this a smile crept on my face.
I was writing a reply but an idea came to my mind.

I decided to surprise Sia by going her home.

I freshened up, wore my casual shirt with jeans, took my bike keys and drove off to sia's house.

But before that, I called dad and informed him about my arrival.

As it was early morning the roads were empty, however distance between our homes was hardly 5 minutes but in traffic that would also feel like miles.

As I reached, mom welcomed me with her usual smile.

"Good morning mom." I greeted her and touched her feet in respect.

"Good morning beta, stay blessed." She replied with a smile.

Dad was sitting in the living room, reading newspaper.

I took his blessings and took a seat opposite him.

But I was restless to see my darling.
I was watching here and there and tapping my foot impatiently when dad spoke, "So Raghav, how's everything going in business?"

"Good." I said.

"Hmm, and how are your friends doing?" Again a question.

"Good." Again I gave a one word answer while watching the stairs.

"And how's the weather today?"

"Good."

"How's the current government doing?"

"Good."

"Raghav will you have coffee or tea?"

"Good."

"Gud??"

"Huh??" I asked.

"Raghav you will have gud (jaggery) in morning. Is your stomach upset?" Mom asked.

"What? I mean I didnt get you, sorry." I said.

"Raghav, for the past 20 minutes you are answering all my questions as 'good' and when your mom asked you whether you will have coffee or tea , you answered good." Dad said in a playful tone.

"Uh...uh..,Uhm....I...i mean...tea...tea would be okay. Thanks mom." I replied a bit stuttering.

Mom chuckled and went into kitchen.

"Son, we know that you are here to meet Sia. You don't have to make excuses, just go up and meet her." Dad said and again started reading his newspaper.

And without wasting any time I ascended the stairs up to sia's room, and to my good luck, her room was not locked.

I opened the door slightly, to see if she was awake or still asleep.
