Andi:

I have been having these.... stupid dreams again.

It has been 10 years ago since I had my migraine but now they are back and it is even worse.

And this has been happening for a year now.

"Dr. Cortez, where does this mechanism go again?" one scientist asked me while I had my hand massaging my temple.

"Sigma 8, Section A-12." I replied automatically as my head throbbed. "Ugh, Lucas!" I yelled at my assistant. " Tell everyone to continue with the test; I am taking a nap in the Medical Bay."

I did not wait for his reply as I went out of my laboratory and managed to find my way to the medical bay as the pain intensified. But before I can lie down; the pain just got stronger and I fell down on my knees as the pain took hold of me until I fear my head will explode.

Bursts of quick images flitted through my brain but the pain prevented me from seeing them clearly until I suddenly felt my body fall in space..into the gaping mouth of a black hole.

Again....This again!

Crap...this is..the 4th time already with the same fucking hole. Oooh my head...it hurts! Help me...anyone!

But silence only greeted me as my body suddenly emitted a small shower of dust particles, the smell of it was light and floral before my eyes rolled backwards and my vision turned black.

---------------------------------------------------------

"Dr. Cortez! Dr. Cortez!" the voice brought me back and my eyes snapped open. Disoriented I tried to get up but Lucas, my assistant pushed me back gently.

The brown-haired young man was looking scared and told me he found me collapsed on the Med Bay floor, I had been in bed for 2 hours.

A momentary panic seized me because he might have seen my dust but a quick scanning on his face shows that the particles must have vanished already when he must have found me.

"I have to get back to the lab. The testing demo of the Ares and Athena battle suit is soon upon us and I cannot rest until the prototype is completed tonight."

"But Ma'am, you look pale. At least rest for a-"

"Don't overstep your boundaries Lucas. Now get the nurse here and administer 2 Luminas pain med patch on me so that we can get back to work...NOW." I said forcefully, making my assistant flinch and obey me instantly.

The pain was still throbbing and yet...the image of the black hole stayed with me and this was the first time it triggered the dust shower that I only seem to be emitting for the past year or so...

What does it mean? And why a black hole? And why in blazes am I spraying dust like one of those videogame flower monsters whenever I get a migraine.

Ever since I reached the age of 18; I have been having on and off migraines accompanied by strange images for years but what frustrates me the most was that the pain was so strong that I could not recall any memory of what I saw in those images.

But despite the irritation, why does it feel different his time?

The dust that I am putting out does not seem to be toxic or harmful to others so I let it be and yet they do raise some questions too...

I groaned until I suddenly felt cold like I was doused in water but I paid it no mind. I have to finish this project and get the robotics board of trustees to approve of my latest battle suit that should prove useful to the Earth's Military Bases.

The other reason as to why I am so obsessive in finishing the prototype is because I have a wedding to attend in 3 months....

Wait, not a wedding but a renewal of vows...so kinda like a wedding but for the second time.

And my old school mate Sarina will never forgive me if I missed it this time!

Fast forward to the present...

Earth-Kindred Space Station - near the Moon's vicinity

Krei:

She clearly does not think highly of men.

The woman called Andromeda Cortez walked beside me with a proud tilt of her head, her colorful ombre hair brushed against her shoulders and her keen green-brown eyes took in the facilities and surroundings of the space station with subdued curiosity.

Unlike Samira who was petite with full, shapely breasts and curvy hips and thighs; this woman looks to be younger than her, more slender with graceful long limbs and legs that seem to go on forever and yet nicely curved in places that can please any male.

And if that was not attractive enough; Her heart-shaped face actually appeals to me. Her skin had the color of a dessert Sarina gave me.

What was that again? Ah yes. Pecan Pie it was called. Not quite as dark as Strike or Warring, who are my brothers in arms but a light creamy brown that suits her beauty.

The way her delicate jaw angled to see every detail of the Space station kinda makes you wonder what is going on in her pretty head.

Until I realized that I was staring too long at her, which made me shake my head.

When I told her that she had to hold on to my waist while we boarded my Hovercycle; she wore a disapproving frown but she held on as instructed, I swear I heard her shiver when she touched me.

Was I that repulsive?

But thank goodness, we arrived in the residential area and I led her to Samira's apartment which is a three-floor complex and easily recognizable.

"This...is where Samira lives? Interesting structure." she murmured as she went inside and saw the vast living room and kitchen. "Not bad. I wonder where is the energy source of this heating device....."

She looked very interested in the Kindred furniture and the heater sphere that is merged with the dining table so I stared at the backside which had nice curves despite her slender built, her bent over position showed her small but well-shaped breasts pushing against her tight black top.

Again the sight of her was making my battle suit pants tight and my fangs to ache.

"I'll take my leave then." I bowed gruffly to her and turned to leave.

"Hey." she called out to me so I stopped and craned my head to look at her.

She was walking towards me and offered her small hand.

"Thank you for guiding me all the way here. Mr. Krei." she said in a formal tone, a polite smile was in place as she waited for me to make my move.

I had to turn around and took her hand as was the Earth custom, but when our fingers touched; I felt my body become warmer complete with a pleasant buzz but suddenly she slapped my hand away rather violently.

"On second thought. A handshake is not necessary. Just leave." she turned around swiftly before I could see her expression.

I saw her lift her hand to her head and I wonder if she was not feeling well but the tense way she was holding her posture shows that she does not want anyone to be near her.

As I turned to leave, something pricked my subconscious and it was telling me not to let it go like this.

But the moment I turned around; I saw her swaying unsteadily before a groan fell from her lips and I ran to her before she collapsed and a cloud of silver dust burst from her body.

Alarm bells rang in my head as I held her in my arms and sprinted out of the house and back to my Hovercycle.

I have to get to the Med Unit!
