Chapter 2: The Luck Kiss

It has a while since I came to be stationed as a Combat Instructor under my friend's command. Almost an Earth year at the least & I am enjoying the calm and routinely life that I have here.

My mother has passed on to be with the Mother of Life a long time ago and I had no other siblings but I do have my father, who is retired from his work. But I have met a few good warriors that became my sworn brothers during my endless drifting through space.  

One of these comrades are the Dark Twins Warring Soul and Strikes Fast ; my close friends turned warriors who drifted from battlefield to battlefield and we often meet in campaigns but now they seem to have settled down at the Kindred Space Station near a planet called Earth.

The Genetic Trade should have been over now but for some reason, my fellow warriors are still allowed to call brides. It seems like the ones who joined the trade spoke highly of brides from this small mud and water planet.

Before I would be skeptical about the females from a planet that has backwater technology but I had the opportunity to meet the Earth female the twins were claiming on Ellesia during the war and I was impressed with her bravery when she shielded me once from an enemy attack.

She is now Strike and Warring's wife and she was the inspiration for me to try my luck at calling a bride when I got stationed here.

However, after more than a year of hoping; my hopes of calling an Earth bride dwindled. So far no dreams...no visions of any female have entered my mind during my sleep.

It was not the first time I tried. With every genetic trade, the Kindred race makes; I have tried to call a bride thrice since I earned my blade as a young warrior. I tried on my homeland Tranq Prime, Ellesia and then nowhere on Earth and each attempt bore no fruit.

And usually, after each attempt, I feel an odd pain in my chest that makes me wince from time to time. I wonder if this pain was because of the frustration every Unmated warrior feels for every failure.

Currently, I am preparing for the ceremony of the twins and their bride. The Earthlings have this odd customs wherein the husbands repeat their wedding views as a sign of their everlasting love to their female after certain years. It is, how the Earth females say...a "romantic" gesture.

Since I am an unmated male, I reside at the Mother ship which is on the other side of the moon but close in proximity that the pods can transport us to the Space Station.

It has been 3 days since I saw Ms. Cortez but whenever I talk to the twins and would subtly ask about her, they would mention her once in a while especially her very unusual hair for it fascinated the young Al'rik who now wants to dye his black hair as well. He also seems to have taken a shine to her as well since my friend tells me he follows her around whenever he is free.

That woman...

I just met her and yet I felt something... A stirring in my heartstrings and it even made my body hot all over when I imagined her in front of me, smiling and laughing.  Even recall how her curves looked like in that medical gown days ago and seeing the smoothness of her legs made my cock hard every time I lay in my bed.

As I left the Male Quarters and got to the nearest transport pod. I checked myself on the pod's reflective glass to make sure I was presentable; I usually wear my best battle suit but decided to use my station uniform which was more imposing and the fabric is more comfortable. I also took great care of my appearance for some odd reason, putting my long hair up in a sleek ponytail and shaving my stubbled face.

I then took my hovercycle and made my way to the Sacred Groves which is located at the heart of the  Station Square which was filled with purple and green plant life. The sacred tree was beautiful and its light felt calm and soothing. No shoes are allowed on holy grounds so all footwear were collected and given back once the ceremony was over.
