"What is this smell?" I say as I open my bedroom's door, the first I smell is something burning

"Oh shit not again!!" I yell before running downstairs to see Mark, my roommate also my best friend panicking in front of the sink with a frying pan in his hand trying to put down the smoke

"Mark?" I called his name and he got startled

"Oh y/n, good morning" he gave me an awkward laugh after

"Again mark? You could've just waited until I wake up to make breakfast" I said trying not to laugh

"You always make breakfast so I wanted to try it again maybe I'm lucky enough to make a good breakfast for us but I guess I'm not, still burned the eggs" mark said in disappointment, I walked close to him and patted his back

"It's okay mark, let me do it you just help me" I said and mark gave me a smile

After that, mark quickly opened the kitchen windows and I cleaned the frying pan to make breakfast by the help of mark until we finished. Mark and I put the food on the table before eating it.

"Damn I'm never gonna be good at making breakfast, especially eggs" mark said in the middle of eating and laughed

"But at least you can make other meals" I said before taking another bite, mark nodded

"Right"

"So what do we do now?" I asked mark after both of us sat on the couch

"What do you have in mind?" Mark said, I put my hand under my chin to think about something

"I don't know" the room went silent after my sentence, both of us thinking about something. After at least a good 2 minutes mark came up with an idea

"Okay, how about we organise a party in here tonight or tomorrow night if you want, we invite our friends?" Mark said his idea

"Okay why not! But let's make it tomorrow so today we can prepare everything we need for the party also we could invite students from our school tomorrow" I said happily

"That works" mark agreed "okay, go change we'll go out today" I nodded my head then both of us went to our rooms to get ready

Time skip>
We spent most of our day outside buying what we need for a party, we also went and prepared the invitations so we could give to the school. Finally we got back home, we put the bags on the counter then we laid down on the couch after we removed our shoes

"I'm hungry" I said after a while

"You're probably tired let's just order pizza" mark said before pulling his phone to order

An hour later, the doorbell rang. Mark stood up from the couch and went to open the door and soon enough, he walked back with the box of pizza in hands

"Come on let's eat" he called me and I gladly walked to him,

I sat down on the chair and then we started eating until we got full, we left some pizza so we put it in the fridge before making our way to the living room. Mark sat down on the couch while I went to grab us some blankets to get ourselves warm and in a mood to watch some movies even though we have school tomorrow.

I quickly went back to where mark is, I sat down before covering half our bodies with the blankets then the movie started. We're half in the movie when mark decided to speak

"Do you think I could ask Mina out tomorrow or something?" Mark said and covered half his face with his blankets

"Aww someone is in love huh?" I said playfully before chuckled "yeah sure, you've been single for a long time you need a girlfriend or a boyfriend which one you prefer"
