Mark (6) (Request)

"How do I look?" Mark asked as he stared at his friend waiting for a reply

"Handsome as ever Mark" His friend Johnny answered praising him

"Good, now I think I'm ready to do it" Mark said before looking at the mirror for the last time trying to find if there's something on his outfit but luckily he didn't find anything

Today is the day that Mark is gonna confess his love to Fiona, his friend, he had a crush on her and it's the time he confesses and get what he's been keeping in his chest for a while out

"Here are the keys, the place is prepared you need to get there soon and Fiona will be there soon as well so you better hurry" Johnny said giving Mark the keys to the cat and he started pushing him out of the door until they stood beside the car

"Thank you for the help Johnny" Mark thanked his friend before getting in the car and drive to the location

Mark got out of the car when he arrived to the place, he made his way to the table where he's supposed to tell his feelings, as he got close he noticed a familiar figure standing beside the table looking around. An idea popped in Mark's head, he slowly made his way behind her and put his hands on her eyes when he got close

"Did I make you wait too long?" Mark said before taking his hands off her eyes and making his way in front of her

"Mark? What's this all about?" Fiona said staring at her friend in confusion

"Let's just eat for now and I'll tell you later okay?" Mark explained after taking a seat beside Fiona

Soon the two of them started eating while talking about stuff

"So Mark?" Fiona said taking a napkin to clean up

"Fiona I don't know how to start this but I'll try" Mark started before taking the girl's hand in his, she looked at their intertwined hand then her eyes shoot up to Mark's face she saw how flustered he was so she put her other hand on both your intertwined ones

"It's okay take it easy" Fiona said trying to comfort him

"I- I like you Fiona and I can't keep it in anymore I wanted to do this in a special way so that we can never forget this moment if you don't like me as well it's okay I understand we can still be friends" Mark finally admitted his feelings, he kept staring at her face trying to see how she reacts, as soon as he saw her mouth turn into a smile that's when he felt kinda relieved

"Mark I really like you as well and I wanted to confess but you know me I can't say a sentence without stuttering half the time but finally one of us did" Fiona admitted as well

Both of them smiled before one of them started moving close to the other but stopped half way before their lips could touch

"Mark Mark Mark" Fiona started repeating Mark's name and her voice tone slowly started to change into a fake girly tone

All of a sudden, Mark shoot up from his bed looking up at his surroundings, he thought he would wake up and see Fiona in front of him still sitting on the table but instead he was met with a tall guy standing beside his bed looking down at Mark with a smirk

"Good morning Mark, did you dream about her again? And what about this time did she accept your confession this time?" Johnny said laughing at his confused friend, Mark just stayed there looking at him still taking in his surroundings before throwing himself back on his pillow. It was all a dream again.

"Ugh yes" Mark sighed

"And when do you think you'll actually tell her" Johnny asked sitting on the edge of Mark's bed

"I really don't know I'll figure it out soon" Mark said closing his eyes

"Then for now let's forget about all of this and let's go eat then we'll go somewhere to get your mind off of her

Mark nodded his head agreeing on the offer, maybe he needs to distract himself until he has the courage needed to finally confess to Fiona instead of having to dream about her
