"Did you find any job yet?" my best friend donghyuck asked when I walked in his house. I went and sat on the couch and he sat beside me

"Not yet, I toured around but I didn't find, well I found some jobs but they only accept male employees" I said putting my head back. There was a moment of silence between us but donghyuck broke it

"I think I know someone that could help" I turned to look at him with sparkle in my eyes.

"Here we are" we stopped in front of a cafe called "Dream Cafe", we start walking to the entrance.

The place wasn't very crowded with a big number of people, since it's almost closing time. We walked to the cash register, the girl who's working there looked at me then to donghyuck

"Oh hello donghyuck it's been a while since we met, I see that you got a girlfriend" She said with a smile on her face

"No no she's not my girlfriend she's just my best friend and yeah it been a while" donghyuck said returning the smile, I think they know each other since she called him by his name.

"So how can I help the both of you?" she asked

"We're here to see mark, is he here?" donghyuck asked and the girl nodded her head

"Yeah, he's at the back of the cafe want me to call him"

"It's fine you keep working, we'll go see him," donghyuck said smiling before taking my hand in his and we walked to where this mark guy is

"Mark!" donghyuck yelled the guy's name soon the other turned around and saw us standing, donghyuck waved at him before he went and hugged mark

"It's been a while man" mark said after pulling away from the hug, he looked behind donghyuck at me and he smiled

"Who's that? you're girlfriend?" he asked and came close to me to shake my hand "Hello I'm mark donghyuck's best friend since childhood nice to meet you" I shook his hand

"Hello my name's y/n, donghyuck's close friend not his girlfriend" I said returning the smile

"Oh you two aren't together? that's bummer.... so why did you guys come here?" mark said going back to where he was before

"Oh yeah, I remember that you said you need another employee here and y/n is looking for a job" donghyuck explained

"Oh great you came at the right time, mina actually wants to stop working here soon" mark said and his eyes lit up

"Does the two of you still a thing?" donghyuck asked mark, mark froze in his place for a moment before turning to face us

"No we're just friends now, it didn't work out between us so we broke up but she still works here because she didn't find another job and now since y/n is here mina can stop working here and I'll give the job to her" mark said giving me a smile, I felt my cheeks heat up because of the way mark was looking at me.

"Thank you so much, so when will I start the work?" I asked mark trying to not stutter

"Few days later, I'll call donghyuck to tell him" mark said turning to look at donghyuck and donghyuck nodded

"Okay then thanks again" I thanked him again

"You're welcome" mark smiled at me

I looked at donghyuck before start speaking "I'll be in the car" he nodded his head

"Okay I'll be with you soon" he said and I gave him a smile before leaving the two boys alone.
