I look at Oceania, was this woman serious?

"Are, are you being serious right now?" I ask her. I was in shock at the moment I mean neither of them liked humans so it made me wonder if she was kidding or if she was serious about this.

"Very serious. I know that her father might be a problem but if that is the only thing that would be keeping her from choosing to live down here, I'm pretty certain that I can convince my husband to persuade that....man to let her live down here." She hesitates at the word man, I really didn't like Gaitlyn's dad either but Oceania didn't know him and it wasn't right for her to judge....wait yes she did he was after us in the sea caves, scratch everything I just said.

"If you are serious about this we need to talk to Posyden and Nic. I Would have to talk to Gaitlyn as well, do you think he would let me go to the surface?" I ask her.

"Yes I think he would but you can't come out of the water, you will have to call her to the caves since she already knows about them." She says to me. I nod and start to swim to my moms house.

"Posyden, I need to speak with you for a moment." I say to my husband. He swims over to me. He gave me this weird look, like he knew what I was going to say to him.

"What is it?" He asks me. I stare at the ground for a moment, thinking of how to say this without making him really mad at Marina and myself.

"I know that you are going to be angry at me, but this is the only way that I can think of without having to bring harm to her. I think that we should turn Marina's friend Gaitlyn into one of us." I say to him. I plug my ears waiting on the big yelling and ranting, but it didn't happen. I look up at him, obviously he was thinking about it which shocked me to no end.

"Very well, I agree with you." He says. When he says this, my jaw droped. I swim over to him to see if he had a fever or something. He swats my hand away in a playful gesture. I laugh with him for a moment.

"I wasn't expecting that at all. Now here comes the fun part, if she is going to be one of us, we have to let Marina go to the surface." He nods.

"That isn't up to me, Marina will have to deal with Nic on that one."

"Hell no!" He yells at me.

"Look, I don't want anything to happen to her, so with or without your permission I'm going to tell her what your mother told me. I don't want to go against you, but I protect the people I love Nic and I WILL go up there." I say to him. I talked to Oceania a few days ago about what happen with me and Nic in the caves and she told me when it came to that I should use my assertive voice to let him know I meant business.

"Fine, I'm going with you though." He says to me and I nod to him.
