Chapter 23; Drama Queen

I spent the rest of my night wondering who Jason was with and talking to.

It couldn't have been Signa because she left.

I fell asleep because I was too tired to think about it.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I moaned and slapped the alarm clock. I stepped out of bed, got dressed and went downstairs. I wore some sweats and a t-shirt because it was the last day with the baby.

I went back upstairs and changed Violets diaper. I put some clothes on her and I headed out the door to the bus stop.

"Ou did Jason get you pregnant? Oh that's right you and him broke up." The snobby girl giggled. I glared at her.

"Awe poor Nicole, you got dumped by Jason Waud." Another one said.

I rolled my eyes and walked on to the bus.

"Slut!"

"Skank"

"Ew your that hoe that Jason fucked."

All I heard when I was walking through the halls of my school were nasty names.

*Don't cry. You can do this.*

I walked up to Austin, gave him the baby and walked away. He seemed shocked that I didn't talk to him.

I ran into the bathroom and locked myself in a stall.

*RINNGGG*

*I'll just skip.*

I sat in the stall all morning until lunch. I couldn't take everyone's comments.

As the lunch bell rang, a wave of girls that were fixing their make-up and gossiping came in. I kept quiet so they wouldn't know it was me.

Someone knocked at the door. I didn't say anything.

"Nic, it's me. Please come out. You weren't in music class and I was worried." Veronica said. "Is everyone gone?" I whispered. "Y-yeah I'm pretty sure."

I unlocked the door and walked out. I stretched my body as I was sitting in the stall for 2 and a half hours.

"Are you okay?" Veronica rubbed my shoulder. "Yeah I'm fine. It's just people are calling me names and saying that Jason and I broke up." Tears started to fill my eyes.

Veronica frowned "You need to see this then." She pulled her phone out and showed me Jason's story.

It said "hey guys. Me and Nicole broke up. Love you all tho and stay happy!"

I sat down by the wall and started to cry. Veronica panicked "I'll be right back, I'm going to get the girls." I nodded and see left the bathroom.

I called Joe.

"Hello?" He whispered

"J-j-joe..." I sobbed.

"Nicole??? Are you okay??" He softly said. "Hold on." He stuffed his phone in his pocket. "Can I go to the bathroom?" "Yes." A muffled conversation happened.

"Okay I'm back. What happened? Are you alright?" He said.

"N-nooo" I cried "check Jason's story."

"Uh okay." He said.
There was a long pause.

"That son of a bitch I'm gonna kill him." Joe yelled.

"No!!! Joe don't do what happened last time please, I'm begging you." I cried again.
