Chapter 15: Choose one

Jason's POV

I stomped back to my hotel room only to find Nicole getting undressed. "Uh oh I'm sorry." I turned around. Nicole jumped and quickly put on some black tights and one of my t-shirts.

"Where did you go?" She looked at my knuckles and looked back at me "Jason...w-what happened?" I sat down on my bed "I just got so mad at him, he was acting so weird. He made me so angry so I punched him..... I couldn't stop." I felt a tear roll down my face. "Oh god, Jason is he okay?" She sat down next to me. "Y-yeah...I think." I wiped my tear away. "Are you okay?" I asked her, looking at her bruise. "Yeah, I'm fine." She looked down at the floor.

I faced her and touched her soft face with my hand. She leaned in and we kissed. A tear rolled down her face and I felt it hit my lips. I pulled away "Nic...." I gave her a concerned look. "I-im okay." She laughed and wiped her tear off my lips. She came closer to me and wrapped her arms around my neck (prom style) and kissed me softly. I smiled and kissed back. We made out for a bit and then I looked at the clock. It was 5:03 am. "Nicole....." I played with her hair "we should get to sleep." She looked at me with her gorgeous brown eyes "okay, Jay Jay."

She's never called me that before, but I liked it. She curled under the blankets and I flipped the lights off and crawled into the bed with her. I cuddled her until I fell asleep.

2:00 pm

I heard banging on the door. I got up and opened it to see who it was and surprise, surprise it was Joe and Chase. Chase walked in with Joe and we went to the balcony because Nicole was still sleeping.

Joe crossed his arms "Look, Jason I love you so much but sometimes you get a little out of hand. I'm sorry for pissing you off and I'll apologize to Nicole." He said. "It's okay and I'm sorry too for messing you up." I let out a laugh. "Thank you Chase for stopping me....I would've killed him if you weren't there." Chase smiled "Anytime, bro just don't let it happen again."

We all had a bro group hug and laughed. "So..." Joe murmured "uh what's going on with Nicole? Is she mad at me?" I looked back into the room through the glass door "I don't know man...you need to talk to her."

"Alright." He slid the door open and walked in. I was about to follow until Chase grabbed my shoulder "This is for them...let them have some privacy." We sat down on the lounge chairs and waited.

Joe's POV

I walked into the room and slid the door closed. I turned around and saw Nicole sitting up, rubbing her eyes. "Hey." I said. Her eyes widened "j-joe.." "listen, I'm so sorry for last night....I don't know what got into me. I love you so much and just know that I'd never hurt you." I sat down next to her. She shifted her body and looked at me "Joe I love you too, but...." She moved her arm and I saw that she had a bruise on it. "Oh my God did I do that to you?!?!" My eyes started to water up. "Nicole I'm so sorry, I'd didn't realize I hurt you that much." I started to cry "I won't ever talk to you again, I'll be out of your life." She hugged me "Joe, I love you I want you to stay in my life." She laughed. "Oh okay, I love you more." I held on tighter.

Nicole's POV

I'm not sure who I love or like at this point. I love both of the boys. I released myself from the hug and looked at Jason. I waved at him to come in. He gladly opened the door and sat down beside me. He put his arm around my waist. Joe saw and I could tell he got upset. "Nicole" Joe started "Jason and I can't keep fighting over you." Jason looked at him and then at me "yeah....I can't be with you if you're going to flirt with him and stuff too." He looked down. "G-guys i-i can't decide. I love both of you guys so much." I got really sad. "Well you need to choose; me or him" Joe said.

I felt both of their eyes on me and I just couldn't take it. I grabbed Chase's car keys and ran out of the hotel. (Nicole is 15, so she doesn't have her license btw.)

I started driving...I didn't stop. I went onto the highway and hit on the pedal. My thoughts were driving me crazy, I couldn't handle anything. I looked at the sky for a few seconds, then looked back to the road and I smashed into the car in front of me. My eyes closed after that. All I could hear were firetruck and ambulance sirens. "You're going to be okay, stay with us." A man said. I felt my body being lifted out of the car and onto a bed.

I didn't wake up after that.

Jason's POV

I was so confused where Nicole went, Joe and I had been outside looking for her when I got a phone call.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi is this Jason?" A lady said.

"Yes it is." I said.

"Your girlfriend has been in a terrible car accident." She said "she's in the hospital right now."

My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe it. "I'll be right there." I hung up.

I took a city bus to the nearest hospital and ran to the front desk "hello, where's Nicole Hunter?" I said. The lady responded so calmly "She's in a coma right now, she's in room 218." "Thanks." I ran down the hallway. I sprinted to her room and when I got there, she was laying so peacefully on the bed. I nelt beside her a grabbed her hand "awe, baby please wake up" I cried "I can't live without you!" I shook her body "Nicole please wake up!!!" I sobbed.

Her mom and dad walked in and sat beside me. "Jason, I'm so sorry for everything that we did to you....you don't deserve this at all." Her dad put his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him in the eyes "She better come back, this girl is the love of my life." I stood up and stormed out of the hospital room.

"Jason come back!" Her mom yelled. I ran into Joe and started crying. "What happened?!?! Is she okay???!!!" Joe wrapped his arms around me. "N-n-no she isn't....." I sobbed "SHES IN A COMA." Joe dropped to the floor "OH MY GOD. NO, SHE HAS TO WAKE UP." He cried. Chase and Danielle came rushing towards us "hey, we got the news is she alright?" Chase said. Danielle was already crying, she ran past us and into the room that Nicole was in.

"Sh-she....she's in a coma." I said as I continued to hug Joe. "Oh shit. Do you know when she's going to wake up?" Chase looked around. "No." Joe said. "Let me talk to a doctor." He started looking around the hallway for someone. "Hello?!?! Can someone please find me a doctor??" Chase said. A nurse popped her head through a door "uh hey, I'm not a doctor but I think I could help." Chase smiled "one of my friends is in a coma...is it possible to tell when she's going to wake up?" The nurse frowned "No there isn't...I'm very sorry." She walked back into the room that she came from.

"FUCK." Chase stormed into Nicole's hospital room. Joe and I followed. Her parents picked up their things and started walking out the door. "Where are you going?" Danielle asked. "We're going home...you guys should too." Nicole's dad said.

As they walked out of the doorway the machine that Nicole was hooked up on started beeping. All of us stood up and started to panic. Two nurses and a doctor rushed in. The doctor checked her pulse "she's still alive." "Did you guys check for any internal bleeding?" He asked. One of the nurses responded "Yes, there was some on her left side near her artery." "Take her to surgery...we need to remove it." He said. The nurses unhooked her from some of the machines and they wheeled her out.
