Chapter 9; Help Me

Jason's POV

"I'm telling you, it was an accident. I don't know what happened." I said to the police officer. "Okay, we're going to have to take you into custody for now." The officer started writing in his book.

"Bro, what's going on?!" Joe rushed into the emergency room. "It's Nicole...she fell." I sadly said. "Oh god is she okay?" He asked.

The officer was putting me in handcuffs. "WAIT NO, YOU CAN'T ARREST HIM." Joe screamed. Everyone in the emergency department looked at us.

"Sorry kid, but he's under the arrest for abusing Nicole Hunter." The police said. "Look, I'm telling you the truth...I would NEVER hurt her. Please just let me say goodbye." I said.

The officer looked at me "okay fine, you have 5 minutes." We walked into the room where Nicole was laying peacefully. I walked over to the side of her bed "Babygirl I'm so sorry. It should've been me who got out first. I'll be back soon. I love you" I kissed her forehead and walked away with the police officer.

Joe was walking beside me, "wait what were you two doing?" "None of ya business." I grinned. "Oh I know...you were getting some, weren't you." He laughed. "Nah, bro I almost did." I exclaimed. "Oof" he laughed.

2 months later.

I was back home in Washington. Nicole's parents put a restraining order on Joe and I. We can't text, call or even be around her. I went to jail for 2 days because they thought that I hurt her.....I'd never do that.

Chase came over to keep me company. Him and Danielle are still together, she comes every once in a while.

"So Jason when does the restraining order get taken off?" Chase sat down on the couch beside me. "I'm not too sure, I think it's when Nicole decides." I said. "Well Danielle said that she doesn't know about the restraining order....." He trailed. "WHAT" I jumped up "SHE HASN'T KNOWN ALL THIS TIME?!?" I yelled. "Bro chill, try talking to Danielle about it." Chase grabbed his phone and started dialing Danielle's number.

*Ringing* *ringing*

"Hello?" A girls voice answered.

"Hey babe" Chase smiled.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Can you put Nicole on the phone?"

"Chase, you know I can't." She said.

He frowned and mouthed out "sorry"

He walked upstairs to talk to Danielle so I was left on the couch.

I wanted to call Nicole so bad, but her parents changed her number and blocked mine and Joe's. I decided to go upstairs and take a nap.

12:00 pm Nicole's POV

It's been 2 months since I last saw Jason. I keep replaying what I could remember of what we did in the shower. I miss his touch....I miss his beautiful ocean eyes and I just miss him. He left me without saying anything. *Did he see me in the hospital?* *Does he still even remember me?*

Danielle was on the phone with Chase until she abruptly came into my room. "So...." She twiddled her thumbs "Nicole there's something I need to tell you, but we need to go somewhere else." She whispered.
"Uh okay?" I grabbed my bag and we headed to the mall.

We were passing by "la Senza" and I thought "Jason would love to see me in those" I grinned. "Ew, T.M.I" Daniel laughed.
"Oops, sorry" I giggled. "So what did you want to tell me?" I asked. Danielle looked at me right in the eye "Nicole. Your parents put a restraining order on Jason and Joe." She continued, "that's why you can't reach them."
