Caius sighed as he tuned in slightly to his mates emotions. The bond allowed him to do that but he doubted his mate knew how to. The last few days an onslaught of emotions were constantly hitting them and it made the kings worry.
Aro was checking the new members of the guard and Marcus had holed up in his study so Caius had decided to spend some time in the library.
It didn't matter that newborns were always hungry, he still wanted to help her get rid off at least some of her thirst. He wanted to hold her close and protect her. But sadly it would have to wait.
