Not Just You

Chapter 7.

 Lindsay’s POV:

I woke up with strange noises downstairs in the living room; I was completely bothered by it.

I checked the clock on my iHome.

Well that’s just great.

The sun’s up, already shinning in my face.

I groaned, got out of bed to see what is going on.

My eyes we’re kinda shut still, I didn’t see anything, but I had to slightly open up my eyes.

Just I was about to go out of the room, I didn’t realize that my door was still closed.

BANG!

I hit myself against the door.

Now I’m wide awake after I hit myself.

“Owww,” I groaned while opening my eyes and then opening the door.

Then I tripped on something.

I fell over on the floor making noises.

“Ouch!” I heard a voice exclaim.

I got up real fast and saw a person sleeping in front of my doorway.

“Cody?! What the heck are you sleeping in front of my room door?!” I exclaim in a loud whisper.

“Your mom called me saying that you were crying in your sleep and that she could hear you through their bedroom,” says Cody while standing up and saying it in a loud whisper.

Was I crying?

I honestly don’t remember doing that.

“What? I don’t remember doing that!” I added.

“Well, your mom told me you did; besides, you’re at a better place right now, c’mon, I have to show you something, Alli’s already up and dressed, this is probably the time right now to go see it,” he exclaims while opening my door and pushing me in.

“Okay what’s your deal right now?” I said while laughing.

“Just hurry! You don’t want to miss it!” he replied while shutting the door.

Okay, what’s his deal right now? Maybe it’s something special?

I slipped on a peachy pink t-shirt, and my denim shorts, I slipped on my sandals, and brushed my hair and quickly left.

“Okay, you happy now? I’m changed and ready to go-“ as I was explaining, Cody takes my hand and nearly makes me run down our stairs.

I saw my mom and dad getting ready to leave for work, when they saw me leave; they had confused looks on their faces.

“Bye mom! Bye dad! Have a good day at the office!” I say while Cody drags me out the door.

I saw them wave bye and laugh.

“Where we going?” I say while laughing.

“Just keep following me! Alli’s already here, so just keep following me!” he said while breathing fast.

I had no idea; I bet it was to go to the beach again.

When we got to the beach, Cody and I saw Alli sitting alone in the beach watching the sunset.

“Hey Alli!” I say while sitting down next to her.

“Hey girl! Looks like Cody woke you up to see this,” she says while laughing.

“Apparently, he thought I was crying in my sleep, and I hit myself on my door,” I say while punching Cody’s arm.

“Okay, okay, you really didn’t cry in your sleep, I just wanted to wake you up to see the morning sun,”
