Cody’s POV:

I was making my way downstairs to the basement, when I overheard Lindsay and Alli talking about me.

And I couldn’t believe what I just heard.

Lindsay likes me? Just not the famous me? Just plain me?

I didn’t want to crash the conversation that she and Alli were talking about, so I simply went upstairs.

The day we met, it’s like something else hit me, like the lovebug did, I don’t remember crushing on someone, I just don’t remember.

Ever since Lindsay said that, I just want to tell her too, but I just can’t right now, I have too many things to think about, I mean…

I needed to talk to Alli about this, I can’t tell her that I overheard their conversation, just how do I figure this out?

“Oh hey bro, what’cha doing up here all alone?” asked Alli while smiling.

“Oh, nothing, I just have so much on my mind right now! Anyways, what were you guys talking about downstairs?” I lied. I already knew what they we’re talking about but I can’t tell that to them, they’ll think I’m such an eavesdropper!

“Just girl stuff, which you shouldn’t know about, it’s Lindsay and my conversation, and you shouldn’t know about it,” said Alli while smirking.

“Okay then, who wants to watch a movie then?” I said while standing up.

Lindsay’s face lightened up, and she smiled sweetly.

Aw man, she has the cutest smile.

Lindsay started to blush when I was looking at her.

“You’re cute when you’re blushing like that,” I said while winking.

“You’re weird, did you know that Simpson?” she replies while playfully punching my arm.

“I did not know I was such a weirdo,” I said while acting offended and then putting my hands up in mid-air.

“You’re cute, ha-ha,” she added while putting her hand on my shoulder.

“Who wants to watch a classic like Scream 2?” asked Alli while putting up the movie and putting it in the DVD player.

“Yeah, I love scary movies!” says Lindsay while giving a cheeky smile.

“Okay!” replied Alli while smiling back.

She put in the movie, and Lindsay snuggled up next to me…

I’ve always wondered when I could say it, but my tongue gets tied and the words get trapped inside.

Lindsay’s POV:

Watching Scream 2 is like scary with Alli and Cody, Cody had his arm around my shoulders protecting me from harm, and it was cute.

Alli looked over at me and smiled.

Just as Sidney was going to go out the house, the phone in the movie rings.

“No! Sidney! You’re not supposed to answer the phone!” shouts Alli.

When she hung up, the Ghost-Face was there about to attack, and when he made the first move, Alli and Cody’s home phone rings.

“AAAAAH!” we all screamed inside the house.

Alli and Cody’s parents came bursting in when they heard us screaming our butts off.

“THE PHONE RANG WHILE GHOSTFACE WAS ATTACKING SIDNEY!” shouts Alli while putting her hand over her heart.

“You scared us guys! By the way, the fire’s ready if you wanna get in your cozy pj’s and just hang out for a while, we’re going to bed early, well, goodnight all,” said Mr. Simpson while smiling.

“And try not to scream anymore, you’ll wake up the neighbors,” said Mrs. Simpson while chuckling.

“We’ll try not to,” said Cody while smiling back.

I went to the bathroom to change out of my clothes and into my pjs.

As I went out of the bathroom, Cody and Alli we’re already changed into their pajamas and getting ready to make some s’mores.

“I like s’mores,” I said while laughing.

“Well, I’m hungry, and let’s go make some them!” Alli said while handing me a stick to make my s’mores.

The three of us went to the backyard, and see a small fire in the center of the yard burning slowly.

The night was becoming dark, and the moon was shining brightly, than the stars in the sky. But the fire was just in small flames.

We all sat in a separate chair and roasted marshmallows.

I made my own s’mores and then eat it. Biting into the hard graham and then biting the soft gooey marshmallow goodness.

I could never ask for better friends.

I would wonder why if there’s a lovebug, but there is no such thing about it, how this like would happen?

Maybe there are cupids out there that are not on Valentine’s day, and romance happens all the time, I mean like every day, and breakups are never easy, just smile and it was the best moment in your entire life.
