Not Just You

Chapter 13.

(Two weeks later..)

I think I might be dreaming, and flying on cloud nine, cause this day just got me more happier, and I’ll just shut up and tell the whole story…

So, it was a plain Sunday night, after going to church, and eating, and shopping with the family, I got bored with all my entertainment, so my parents went to Wal-Mart to go get some food since our pantry is almost empty.

Just sitting in the living room watching TV, and watching Cody’s music videos on the big screen, when the doorbell rings, I looked out the window to see who it was.

Alli was there, my parents told me not to open the door for anyone else, except for Cody and Alli.

“Hey! What’s going on?” I said while hugging her.

“Nothing much, parents not home?” asked Alli as she hugged me back.

“Yeah, went to Wal-Mart to get food, what brings you over here?” I asked as I let Alli in my house.

“I got bored, Cody told me to get out of the house, since he’s like doing something special,” replied Alli while shrugging her shoulders.

“C’mon, let’s watch some MTV,” I suggested while going to the kitchen to get some water.

“Want some water Alli?” I say while walking to the fridge.

“Yeah! Thanks!” she replies while sitting down on the leather couch.

I opened up the fridge, grabbed two water bottles, and got some snacks to munch on while watching our entertainment.

We decided to watch some movies, before my parents came back, so we chose to watch High School Musical 2, since it was the beginning of summer and we needed to watch something with singing in it. Haha…

Alli and I sang along to the songs, and made each other laugh since we did different voices of other people. We tried to do Sharpay’s voice in her song ‘Fabulous’ but we failed, so we just laughed it off.

‘I want fabulous, that is my simple request, all things fabulous, bigger and better and best, I need something inspiring to help me get along, I need a little fabulous is that so wrong?’ Sang Alli while laughing hysterically.

My parents walked in while we we’re laughing our heads off.

“Hey girls, hi Alli! Didn’t know you were coming, so you and Lindsay just hung out here and watched High School Musical?” asked Mom while hanging up the car keys.

“give your papa bear a hug Linds,” says dad while spreading his arms.

I stood up and gave him a hug.

“Hi Mr. and Mrs. Watkins,” said Alli while waving.

“How’s your evening going Alli?” asked mom while pulling her hair into a messy bun and helping dad do the groceries.

“It’s been pretty good Mrs. Watkins, I got bored and came over here, if that’s okay with you,” she replies while smiling.

“Of course! You and your brother are always welcome to come in whenever you want! I’m always baking cookies, and other sweets, so you’ll kind of notice the house smells really sweet,” said mom while smiling.

“Thank you so much,” says Alli as she smiles big.

“Let’s go upstairs we’ll leave my parents alone,” I say while standing up and shutting the DVD player off.

“Just keep the TV on, I wanna watch something too,” said dad while walking to the living room.

“Mkay, here you go,” I say while handing my dad the TV remote.
