(4 am, getting ready to leave Florida)

“Hey angel, wake up,” Cody said, waking me up gently with his hand.

“Hm?” I asked.

“We’re about to go home remember?” he said whispering into my ear.

My eyes opened and I smiled weakly.

“Oh yeah, time to leave to go back to LA,” I say sitting up and running my fingers through my hair.

“Yeah, I checked our room already, we didn’t leave anything, plus I plugged in your electronics like your iPhone, iPod, and MacBook, they should be finished by now,” said Cody kissing my forehead.

“You mister, are the greatest, how did you know that my electronics needed to be charged?” I asked winking.

“Mine needed to be charged too,” he replies smiling.

I hopped off out of bed to get changed into my airplane clothes, like shorts, sandals, and a floral tank top. I was too lazy to do my hair; I did a simple lazy fishtail braid. I didn’t wear any makeup because Cody said I looked better without it and I believed him. I was just going to wear it on special occasions and some days.

I dragged out my suitcases out of our bedroom and dragged them down the stairs.

My parents and Cody’s were already awake; they were getting ready and finishing up what they need to do. Check the things; check if we have everything etc…

“My goodness Lindsay, this is the last day we will be seeing you and Cody!” says my aunt hugging me tightly.

“I’ll miss you and uncle Robby so much! It’s been a fun trip!” I say hugging back.

“Before you go, I have a few presents for you and Cody,” said my aunt going into the living room.

I followed her behind. She pulled out two plastic bags. Two bags from Forever 21 and one bag from a different store.

“Do you think these will fit you? I went shopping with your mom a few days and figured out sizes, your uncle picked out Cody’s clothes, do you think they will fit him?” she asked.

“I’m pretty sure they’ll fit, don’t worry, I’ll send a few pictures,” I say smiling and hugging my aunt once more.

She nodded her head and smiled.

Cody was getting his suitcases and well; he got them down until he tripped on the last step. Hey! Luckily he isn’t that hurt!

I ran towards him and helped off the ground, but instead; he was bursting into loud laughter. But he was clutching his stomach. I checked everywhere to see if he was hurt. But he really wasn’t.

“Are you okay?! Now you know how I feel when I fall all the time!” I say laughing and helping him up from the ground.

“I’m fine angel! I’m just a bit woozy, but really. I’m good. I didn’t break anything just so you know.” He said winking and pecking me on the cheek.
