(Tuesday Morning)

10:50 am.

As I woke up to the sound of the birds chirping, and the flowing inside my curtains, I was happy, I couldn’t stop thinking what just happened on Sunday night, I became Cody’s girlfriend exactly at 8:15 p.m. that moment was just special, I didn’t really keep track at the times when we became a couple, but this one was special, and with the person who I really loved the most, not just his music, just as him.

My iHome has been playing all night, to the one song that really made me fall in love, just one song, I let it go, it’s been playing all night, repeat, that’s all I heard.

This was Cody’s song before he signed to Atlantic Records.

‘I’m Yours’ by Jason Mraz…

I quickly hopped out of bed and quickly changed into my summer clothes, which is the usual, shorts, a white graphic tee, and a fishtail braid.

Did my regular chores cleaned the living room, the kitchen, and whatever is messy, I don’t have that many chores to do around the house.

The doorbell rings, and I peek at the window to see who it was.

And I exactly knew who it was without even guessing.

I open up the door and see Cody wearing his normal clothes, shorts, and a white graphic tee like mine, he was holding a bunch of roses and a box of chocolates…

“Hey boyfriend,” I say while feeling my cheeks becoming warm.

“Morning angel, these are for you,” he said while handing the roses and the chocolates to me.

“Aww thank you, but it isn’t Valentine’s Day or my birthday,” I say while giggling and then letting Cody come in.

“Yeah, but, I wanted to do something special, just the two of us today,” he said while hugging me.

“What do you have in mind?” I asked while heading to the kitchen and putting the roses down.

“well, I was thinking that we could spend a whole day together, just the two of us, no paparazzi, no screaming fans, just the two of us today, the whole day,” he said while following me and then sitting down on a stool.

“like the beach or the mall, Pacific Park?” I exclaim.

“Yeah! Like that! And maybe a nice romantic stroll on the beach?” he added.

I just wanted to spend an entire day with him, just him, for today; I really wanted to do the stuff that we wanted to do together.

“Okay! Let’s do that now, we have tons of time, I’ll just tell my parents, and then they’ll understand,” I reply while washing up my hands and then drying them with a towel.

“I’m done actually, I don’t need to do anything else, didn’t use anything irons or anything plugged in besides my phone,” I say.

“C’mon, c’mon, c’mon! We don’t have time to waste Linds!” says Cody while giving me a puppy-dog look.

I giggled and nodded my head.

“okay, I’ll try to be fast as I could, we’ll get there in time, you have anything to cover you up?” I asked.

“I have my sunglasses, but no hat,” he replies.

“I have my New York Yankees hat in my room, you like them right?” I say.

“Pretty much yeah,” Cody replies while smiling.

I dashed up the stairs to get my hat, saw it handing on my coat rack, took it off and went downstairs.
