In the early days of Isekai, young twins Cain and Abel roamed freely under the big blue sky. Their only responsibilities were to breathe the clear air and feel the luscious grass under their feet. In their free time, they learned how to round up cattle, plant crops, and navigate through rich forests.

Yet, none of these skills would have helped their village in its time of crisis. Barbarians from the southeast pillaged every house for food and goods, and left no survivors behind.

The Goddess descended upon the aftermath. Being the first of their villagers to die, Cain, the rebellious spirit, became the Guardian of Sin, and noble spirit Abel turned into the Angel of Virtue. In exchange for a second life as powerful deities, they lost their memories. Handsome figures of light and darkness emerged from the celestial realm. Their duties? To oversee the two human dominions and ensure the prosperity of both.

Virtue took the West, and Sin took the East. Each cultivated their own people and lands. Virtue taught his people to love; Sin taught his to accept. However, their inexperience as gods left them with troubles. It was only human nature to betray and rebel lessons of the ancient. Virtue's tears created the vast oceans, and Sin's anger cracked the grasslands between the kingdoms.

Of course, their strife bore a tremendous amount of fruits. For centuries, royals from both sides respected one another. Their soldiers only dealt with thieves and scoundrels, and merchants freely exchanged goods and culture.

This peace continued until one day when the Goddess stood up from her throne and peered down upon the nations. Each linking an arm to their master, they asked her if all went well. She sighed, and nodded. "War," she whispered under her breath, and crafted fourteen orbs - seven white in her right hand, and seven black in her left.

She threw them down the mortal plane and chuckled. "Tell your royals," she demanded. "Whoever collects all fourteen shall be granted a single wish, no matter how absurd it may be. Exceptions are up to my discretion." The deities bowed to the Goddess and disappeared.

First of the two to touch down on Isekai, Virtue spoke his message to Yvette, the eldest daughter of Kingdom Yeet. He trusted this mission to the woman of unrivaled wisdom, magical prowess, and kindness.

Sin, perhaps a bit more slothful than his brother, arrived later in the presence of Nero, eldest son of Kingdom Yami, and his fiancee, Nyx Stella Thorne. Their unparalleled leadership and war strategies would turn the game into their favor.

Months into the war, rumor has it that the Goddess claimed the lives of Yvette and Nero's younger twin siblings, Moros and Keres. Desperate to locate their loved ones, both kingdoms escalated their searches.
