Harmony Townsend was more than happy to see Jill, even in disguise, at her doorstep that Saturday afternoon with her son. She sat down the two to hear how Austin inpired Claire to set out to bring Jill back.
"I personally believe that the laws are so lame," Mrs.Townsend said. "So, we're bringing her to church tomorrow, right?"
"But I'm in disguise still," Jill had to insert. "I will be Austin's grandma."
"That's so weird," Austin said. "Grandma Nora."
"I can do that. Just call me Nana."
"Nana Nora?" Austin laughed.
Mrs.Townsend asked, "Is there anything else you have to take care of here?"
"I told my dad that I was here, but he's not coming here. He doesn't want anything to seem suspicious," Jill said.
"Your dad is a good man, Jill. I just admire him," Mrs.Townsend said. It was another little known fact that back when she was in high school, she and Mr.Holland were quite the item.
After that, Alexis Townsend helped get Jill settled for a bit in her own room. That was when Jill got an idea...but just when she did, her phone rang.
"Lizzie!" she said, answering her phone.
"Jill! I heard from your dad that you were back in Graymoor. Guess what? Sherman has a plan!" Lizzie told her. "He and his dad came up with it and it's amazing! You'll love it! Just trust me! All you have to do is go to church tomorrow morning!"
"Really? I was just going to hang out until all the laws get overlooked. That was my friends' plan," Jill said. Austin soon joined her in his sister's room. Jill gestured for him to remain quiet.
"Well, in case that doesn't happen, Sherman has a plan that will get you unostracized! We were discussing it earlier," Lizzie excitedly said. "He actually told me to tell you about it to get you back here somehow, but since you're already here...that makes everything even more perfect!"
"Okay, okay, okay," Jill said. "But what is the plan?"
"Uh, it's best if you don't know right now. But he told me to tell you just to expect the unexpected tomorrow morning," Lizzie said.
"Cool. And tell him to expect the unexpected tomorrow morning as well, that is, if I get to speak to him," Jill said. She still had to drop this bombshell on Sherman.
Lizzie said, "Oh, don't worry. You will get to talk to him again. And you'll be able to do a lot more than that, too."
"Lizzie, what is this miraculous plan?"
"You'll see! Just make yourself pretty, okay? Trust me!"
"Okay, Lizzie, I trust you." After Jill hung up on Lizzie, she saw Austin looking at her questioningly. Before he could ask any questions, Jill told him, "It was Elizabeth Ramsey."
"And who has a plan better than mine and Claire's?" he asked, green eyes not leaving her for a second.
"Sherman apparently has this foolproof plan to get me unostracized. And I have to expect the unexpected!"
"Oh wow. I wonder what it can be," Austin said.
"Just have to wait for tomorrow morning..." She trailed off and then looked up to Austin, who was about five inches taller than her. "Austin?"
"Uhm?"
"Can you tell me more about how you like me?"
"What do you want to know?"
