Anxiety Then Relief

Sans p.o.v 

I got home late that night. I guess I was a little shy, because I was afraid she'd say no. I opened the door, and quietly shut it. I look around warily. Coast is clear. I teleport to the hallway, and sneaked my way to my room. 

I could hear whispering from the kids's room, so I assumed they where still awake. I turned the knob on the door, cringing and the hinges creaked. I closed the door, and stood in the room. That's when all the thoughts flooded in.

What if she says no?

What if she doesn't feel the same way?

What if I get friend-zoned?

What if... she doesn't want to talk with me after this?

I huff, feeling overwhelmed from the stress. "Why is this so hard?" I mumble quietly. I sat on the edge of the bed, thinking about nothing in particular. I hear footsteps coming  down the hall, and the door slowly opens, and y/n was standing in the doorway, smiling.

 "What the f-

I couldn't finish my sentence, because she walked over and shushed me, "How do you know, when your in love?" She asks grinning. I knew this was a joke, so I responded, "How?" I say nervously. She leans in kisses my cheek and whispers, "When someone steals a pizza your heart!"

I stared back at her. She said yes. Oh my god, she said yes!

 I knew I was tearing up, "Sans, what's wrong?" She asks. I wipe them away, "I-I was just so scared that you'd say no..." I say. She gives me a hug, "Oh, Sans! I'm sorry!" She says. I breathe in, then out, "S-so, I was thinking we go to the movies, because I know you like them and I thought ma—" 

She nods, smiling, "Defidently, how about at a five AM tomorrow?" She says. I nod, and hold her hand, "Thanks y/n..." I mumble contently. "For what?" She asks. I shrug, "Well, for everything! You've always been for the kid, for Toriel, for my bro, and me... your just such an amazing person..." I trail off. She smiles, "Thanks Sans. I love you to." She blushes. She kisses my teeth, and walks away, pausing in the doorway, "Goodnight Sans, see you in the morning!" And she closed the door. I sat there, dumbfounded on what just happened.

She said yes!

She kissed me!

She made a pizza pun response!

She said she loved me!

I lay back on the mattress, content. Smiling like a freaking lunatic.

Little did the two lovers know, three small children in the room down the hall, had been cheering, giggling, and hugging, excited, and wondering what would happen next.

The  Next Morning

I sit up in bed, and get ready.  I went down the hall and into the living room, and blinked at the sudden change of light. "Hey, Good morning Sans." Y/n said, smiling, drinking a cup of (insert favorite morning drink here). "Good morning smiley trash bag." Chara says teasingly. "Good morning guys."  I say, getting a cup of coffee. I sit at the table, and as soon as I got close to y/n, I suddenly remembered the whole scenario from last night.

I blinked. I let out a suprised grunt, and buried my face in my hoodie. "Wow, somone sure is flustered." Chara says, teasingly. "Shut up!" I say. I feel a pat on my back, "Hey, Sans, it's okay, no need to get worked up over it!" Y/n says reassuringly. I hear chara mumble, "Reeaal smooth Sans. Stay chill!"  She says, "I support the ship!" I hear her say, quiet enough so y/n wouldn't hear. I blush.

After all the kids got ready and ate breakfast, I heard Frisk asking if y/n would take them all to school on Khyal. I heard all the kids begging, and y/n finally sighed, and summoned the wind spirit to take them to school. After they all waved goodbye, she came back in and sat next to me, "So, do you want to watch Netflix?" She asks. I smile, "Sure thing, sweetheart."

Sorry for the short chapter! It's just that it's eleven o clock at night, and I'm tired and lazy, (lol I'm not, just lazy) so yeah!
