At last the taxi stopped in front of the building where my appartment was. I lived in a small appartment with my great aunt a bit outside Seoul and worked 6 days a week in a restaurant. She didn't have time to take care of me and I wanted to help her financially since I didn't really want to live here for free. Although I almost never saw her, she was really nice, but as a sixteen year old in a foreign country, I kind of missed my family. Coming here, my main goal was to learn the language because even though I am half korean, when I first came to Korea three months ago I didn't speak a word of it. I Now, thanks to my job I was fluent in the language, save moments when I didn't know words.
We got out of the taxi and guided my manager to my small appartment. We both took off our shoes as we came in and took place around my tiny table. She took out what I assumed was the contract.
"This is a special idol/trainee contract. Unlike trainees you will have a salary but it will lower than an idol's. All the necessary information is in there but if you have any questions my number is on the front page."
I looked at the contract, which was easily 40 pages long and writted in a tiny font. I was in for a long night. The manager took put another paper.
"This I need you to fill in now: just basic information. It should take you a few minutes"
I took the pen she was holding out for me and started filling the paper:Name: Kim Y/N

Spoken languages: english, korean, german, french, a bit of chinese

Manager: Lee Haneul
Position: noneI handed my manager the paper.
"Thank you. I guess I will see tomorrow. Please be ready when I arrive, we cannot delay."
I bowed, she put her shoes back on and went out.***
I let out a sigh and let myself fall on my bed. What the hell just happened! There was no way this way this was real. No way. I need to relax and and calm down. And maybe start packing my stuff?
I got up and went to my wardrobe. For the longest time I did nothing but stare at it. What should you wear to impress worldwide famous idols? I had no idea so I just took random stuff out and shoved it in my travel bag. I just reminded myself that I needed comfortable clothes to train in. Anyways, if I forgot something, my manager said I could come back.
I packed as quickly as possible since I needed to save time to read the contract.
I quickly finished packing throwing some makeup, shoes and a pair of earphones on top of the clothes. I looked at the time. It was almost 7 pm, which meant I had about... 14 hours to read a very long and boring heap of paper. And sign.
Already feeling tired I went to the table and sat down in front of the contract.
It was all about salary, accomodation costs, and how I would have to obey to my three companies. It also had details on the different choices I had once the year ended, which where, by the way, not up to me. It would depend on the other idols my manager and my CEOs. In the end, I didn't bother reading the whole section about dieting and working out and just signed the thing - I am a very bad example NEVER EVER do that.
After that, I just went to bed. Without eating, or brushing my teeth, or turning off the lights, or setting an alarm. I have no idea how I managed to sleep with so many thoughts in my head but I did.Thank you readers who are here. My writing and scenario are probably bad but thanks for being here.
