We went into this canteen and Haneul helped me fill my plate with food. There was only healthy stuff and since I wasn't very hungry I ended up having only salad on my plate. Which was perfectly fine with me. She then led me to a table, when we got closer I could see the Twice members were seated around it.
"Hello ladies. Would you mind taking care of Y/N? I first wanted to leave with Chan but they're still practicing."
"Of course, manager-nim." Nayeon said enthusiastically. That also kind of reassured me.
"Come Y/N!" Chaeyoung said freeing a spot between her and Dahyun. I gratefully went over. I remembered talking to her a few days ago.
"Thank you Chaeyoung-sunbaenim."
"Unnie, please." She said not annoyed at all.
"Unnie." I repeated. The others were already resuming their previous conversations, Nayeon seemed particularly curious about me and asked so many questions I was barely able to eat.
"Which is the nicest of the members you live with? Is it a member of GOT7? Will you come visit us one day? Or even make a collab?"
Sana joined her: "Oh yes! That would be so cool! We'll have to ask Park Jinyoung PD-nim."
Then they started to daydream about our future hypothetical collab. Considering that they had never heard my voice before, or seen my dancing, they were trusting very easily. Or not doubting their CEO's choice rather. All of the members talked to me, and despite how nervous I was in the beginning, at the end of our meal we were all laughing together. I then waited for my manager to come get but she wasn't coming. I checked my phone but hadn't sent me anything either. I guess I would just have to wait.
Felix came to our table, he first shyly greeted Twice while I was trying to hide bejing Dahyun before doing something embarassing. Felix was here in front of me! But he probably didn't notice me...
"Y/N!" He said while peeking behing Dahyun's back. She happily betray me and moved to the side. Yongbok smiled and gestured me to come with him. I reluctantly followed, not knowing what was going to happen. Plus, I was pretty sure I was supposed to wait for my manager.
I followed him in the corridor.
"Your manager sent me to get ypu since I just finished practicing and she was in a hurry." He explained.
Good, I wouldn't get in trouble for not waiting. I was very shy and didn't dare speak a word. At one point, Felix noticed it since he opened his mouth.
"Not very talkative, are you?"
"No it's just that I never thought I'd meet you, Felix-sunbaenim." I said looking down.
"Considering that you live with GOT7, Bangtan sonyeondan and Seventeen, just ate with Twice and get to produce a song with 3RACHA, I don't see why it would be so...special to meet me." He said thoughtfully. I was also quite reassured that I wasn't the only one struggling with Korean. It seemed as though he read my mind since he said:
"I heard you speak english."
"Yes."
"Do you mind continuing this conversation in english."
"It's a relief everytime I get to speak my native language again. Even though I've gotten used to Korean." I sighed happily.
And I didn't need to use all the polite forms which didn't exist in english.
"I totally agree. But isn't your native language french or german. Since you're Swiss?"
"Well yes, but my english is as good as my french and german. I'm still struggling a bit with korean."
"Don't worry, me too. Sometimes."
We continued our casual conversation until we arrived at the studio. I could, through the half open door that the people inside were laughing. I took a deep breath.
"Don't worry, they're just normal human beings." Felix tried to help. "Like me!"
"But you're either! Just like all the people I'm meeting these days, and I'm never getting used to it. You guys are gods to me."
"What did you say?"
Chan had heard me and was turning towards us, smiling and obviously flattered. I, on the other hand, was completely mortified. The two others also quickly turned around to see what was happening. My face became extremely red and I bowed to them, not having thought of doing it before.
"Hello, Changbin, Jisung, Chan-sunbaenim. It's an honor to meet you."
Felix behind was trying not to laugh at my ridiculous behavior. And I really wasn't proud of myself. I slowly lofted my head to see their faces. They were all smilong, it kind of looked like they were making fun of me but at the same time they weren't.
"You look even more handsome in reality." I suddenly said. I don't know what I was thinking but I immediately lowered my head again. Chan laughed while Jisung acted flattered.
"Thank you Y/N. There's no reason to be nervous."
"Oh yes there is..." I whispered under my breath.
Unfortunately, Felix heard me. Again.
"Please don't scare Y/N or her manager will kill me." He said. "See you around." Then he smiled and left.
Hello im so so sorry. I had planned to make this chapter longer but seeing how ive not posted in such a long time ive decided to give you what i already have and continue in the next chapter.
