Chapter twenty-three

"I-"
Jin covered my mouth and said, while smiling:
"She can't tell you. Secret."
I pushed his hand away, rolling my eyes.
"I don't know."
"Well, let's hope for it to be soon." Moonbyul said. "I'm eager to see what you can do."
What she said really stressed because there was no way I would be able to live up to her expectations.
"Please do not be too impatient." I said, in a hopefully respectful voice."It really won't be something worth waiting for. It's only my debut album..."
"That's exactly why we are wainting for it." Solar smiled. "And I heard you're also a songwriter."
"Aspiring songwriter." I corrected.
"Don't lie. Namjoon told me you were great." Jin said.
By that time, our food had arrived and we were all enjoying it. I loved spicy food and right now there was loads of it on the table. I really was enjoying myself. For a few minutes all of us went silent - we were eating. All you could hear were occasional "Mmmm"s and "It's delicious.". Soon we had emptied all of the dishes on the table. We talked for a bit, and I learned things about them that I never knew. At one point the all asked me to call them "oppa" and "unnie". I was really surprised but it truly felt great.
They also all told me, Jin included, about some of their past experiences and warned me about certain things (like which idols not to cross paths with, how to treat a certain music show director,...). It was really great to have these people watch out for me. Jin, despite everyone's protest paid for the whole meal. This guy really was too generous.
It was about half past two when we walked out of the restaurant. All of us had to get home, otherwise it would seem suspicious. We all exchanged numbers and Solar told me again, to call or meet up with her if I ever had a problem. I was so thankful for her help. We all hugged, said goodbye and went our seperate ways.
On our way home, Seokjin suddenly said:
"If anyone asks, we were looking for shoes for you. It took us a very very long time since you're picky."
"Ok...?" I said hesitantly.
"They won't be too hard on us for that, they'll only reprimand us saying that someone could have recognised us."
"Oh right. Ok." I answered firmly this time.
We got home and everyone was busy doing their own stuff, none of them even seemed to have aknowledged our absence - not too difficult in a house of 28 people. Mingyu wasn't here since he was busy being an MC on some show and Jaebum went to the JYP headquarters with Youngjae.
Joshua saw us and waved for me sut sit next to him.
"Tomorrow, we're recording the song. It's kind of like your predebut song but I think your album will be released soon."
"Not possible. I have to finish writing the songs."
"Right. You'll have to give them to the producers at JYP tomorrow. Before or after the recording." he said.
"JYP? But you're from Pledis."
"Yes, but they have better recording material or something like that..." He switched to english. "Besides, I've always wanted to see JYP headquarters. Especially since they have a "new"building·"
"Okay. Fair enough. Thank you for telling me. I probably wouldn't have known otherwise."
"I'm sure your manager is going to call you and tell you all about it."
He smiled as I got ul and headed to my room. He was absolutely right. Not five minutes after, Haneul-unnie called, with way too much information: 10 o'clock tomorrow the car woukd we waiting for me, Jisoo and Hansol-oppa, after the recording they would leave but I'd eat there to be able to work on my album with wait for it... 3RACHA. Apparently, Bighit had insisted on a completely idol produced albums - with some producers help still, of course. Then, the tracks would hopefully be finished. If not, I would have to stay and return the next day...
Well that was a schedule I wasn't prepared for. Who knew they were so impatient for me to debut. At least, I would be able to try JYP's food. Not to mention meet SKZ...
