Indeed, there was a woman waiting for me in front of the door. She was petite, and had black hair and eyes. She seemed like a nice person but her eyes showed she was strict.
I bowed and greeted her.
"Annyeonghaseyo, manager-nim"
"Goodmorning Y/N." She smiled at me "I must say, you very different than what imagined."
I couldn't decide if it was a good or a bad thing.
"Have you understood everything? Or do you need me to explain more in detail again?"
"I would much appreciate that manager-nim."
We started walking down a long corridor and went out of the building. The manager hailed a taxi and we got inside.
"Your address?" she asked. I gave it to the driver and he started the engine. Then, my manager started explaining the plan again:
"Your situation has never happened before so neither your contract nor your training will be normal. For the public you will be a solo artist going under the name of MIYAA. Since all of us agree that the fact that you live with 27 male idols will earn you a lot of haters, we will do our best to ensure that this information never gets leaked. We expect you not to share this information either. Oh, I'm sorry I forgot to ask, you know the names of the idols you will collaborate with?"
"Yes, of course." I said, eager for her to continue her explanation.
"Okay, good. So you will officially have the status of a trainee. You will have weekly vocal lessons and dance pratices. The companies also believed that being around idols 24/7 would accelerate your training. In addition to that, JYP suggested that you do various and numerous collabs with all of the artists - covers, choreos, remixes, songs, etc... - and appear with them on variety shows to get the public to know you, given that you might integrate one of these groups. To sum it up, excluding me JYP, PLEDIS, Big Hit and the concerned idols, as far as the world knows you are a debuting solo artist under JYP... for now. You will be able to participate in awards show and you will release tracks in the following year but the main goal is to complete your training and work on your collabs. And I must warn you, there are a lot. You will move into the dorm tomorrow. I think some of them are already there... In any case, will give you the contract as soon as you arrive home. I expect you to read and sign it, as well as pack your belongings even though you will be allowed to go to your appartment again. I will come and pick you up a 9:30 tomorrow."
"Thank you, manager-nim"
She smiled slightly at me. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I would already been grateful if I had become a YG trainee. Apparently PLEDIS had conviced YG to let me go and transfer me to JYP.
I was the first person to be in three companies. At the same time. That was huge. However, this also meant I was going to have to notify my family about what had happened. And my parents had always been against me being an idol. As a student, I always got the best grades and my parents tried to convince me to study science or literature. But I ignored them and still went to Korea. And now my dream had come true. It was even better than I had imagined.
